A Floral Ballet at The Ashton Arts Centre
The first bud on the branch is, of course, the delightful spring offering from the Ashton Arts Centre. This month, the centre welcomes the renowned choreographer, Mr. Arthur Davenport, back to Ashton with his new production, A Dance of Spring.
Now, Mr. Davenport is a master of the dramatic, a true connoisseur of emotion expressed through movement. The piece itself is beautifully structured, taking us through a series of vignettes featuring flowers in all their delicate glory - lily, violet, and rose.
