As the fire crackled in the hearth, and we chatted, I asked him how he views the vital connection between ballet and music. Maestro Bellini chuckled, his laughter soft and charming, and he replied, "Ballet music is a tapestry of emotions. It's a canvas for expressing every nuance of movement. The music has to be dynamic, passionate, and as alive as the dancerâs heart." The Maestro is now working on a new ballet score, which he described to me as âa swirling journey into a vibrant landscape.â How intriguing. I, for one, canât wait to hear it!
