Oh darling, let’s face it, ballet is always fabulous, but when it comes to tutu talk, July 10th , 1996 was truly something special.

The air was alive with the soft swish of silk and the intoxicating aroma of hairspray as we descended upon the grand old Royal Opera House in Covent Garden. Tonight, darling, we were all swans and butterflies , mesmerized by the elegance of prima ballerina, Darcey Bussell, in 'Swan Lake'. The sheer ethereal beauty of her white tulle tutu left me speechless!

From the moment the lights dimmed and the orchestra began to play Tchaikovsky's iconic score, I was completely swept away. The dancers, of course, were breathtaking.
But tonight, the real star was the tutu. It wasn't just a costume darling, it was an embodiment of elegance, grace, and fragility, a delicate whisper of a dream.
