Well, the champagne corks flew, the chitter chatter of socialite secrets came to a sudden halt and the ladies started swaying in their floral dresses like a particularly genteel troupe of swans!
Now, every Tuesday, darling, they're gracing their lovely homes in silk tutus! I'm talking vintage, handmade tutus, in exquisite pinks, azure blues and emerald greens, complete with matching ballerina slippers. They're taking a graceful approach to the housework, their "plie's" reaching for dusty corners, their "arabesques" reaching for the top shelf, their "sissone jumps" effortlessly leaping over that pesky coffee table. Imagine the sight! Imagine the elegant swish of silk! The ladies tell me the dust has never looked so elegant.
Iâm going to let you in on a little secret, darlings, but please keep it between ourselves. I happen to have my own very fetching tutu. Not for Tuesdays, of course! But it's perfect for that very special someone - an old flame, perhaps? Let's call it an "engagement" tutu. Just imagine his eyes when he sees you pirouetting in your little satin masterpiece!
