This isn't just some random Tuesday; this is the day we finally answer the question that has been gnawing at us for, well, as long as ballet itself has existed! That eternal, age-old conundrum - Is it a **pink** tutu or a **white** tutu that REALLY reigns supreme?**
We are SO excited because finally the great debate comes to a head! A group of dedicated and seriously stylish (of course) dancers from London's prestigious Royal Ballet have donned their finest tutus and tights and taken to the stage to engage in a thrilling and nail-biting competition that'll be chronicled for the ages!
It's a showdown like we've never seen before, and, darling, **let me tell you - these ladies can MOVE!** They're not just twirling and leaping about in their gorgeous tutus, no, they are taking these steps, they're pushing their bodies to the limit, their leotards barely able to contain the sheer POWER that emanates from these women! **They're literally, and metaphorically, leaping off the pages of the most classic of ballets.** And believe me, the audience is completely transfixed!
So what are the highlights you ask? Let's delve into the highlights and see who has taken the crown of **"Most Stunning Tutu"!**
Well darling, let me tell you - it's not been an easy decision for our judges. They've had a long and (hopefully) very enjoyable evening, with performances that will be etched into ballet history forever!
* "The Pirouette of Power"One of the early crowd pleasers was ** Penelope Peabody's** dazzling rendition of **"The Pirouette of Power". ** It was all fast and furious and absolutely full of dynamic moves. The **pink tutu** simply added that touch of femininity that made her every jump a thing of pure beauty.
She looked like she was literally floating on air as she twirled through the ballet studio that was transformed into a veritable stage! She absolutely had the entire audience rapt with each effortless move and perfect leap! That **pink** really just added the extra sparkle and helped to make the dance look simply sublime!
But dear darlings, you simply MUST see the pure artistry of " **The Whisper of the Tutus**." * "The Whisper of The Tutus"
It's been a long time since a ballet has brought tears to my eyes - I literally cried happy tears when I saw **The Whisper of the Tutus** being danced by our next contestant. It was performed by a fantastic ballet dancer - **Beatrice Beatrice** - who has absolutely wowed everyone with the most delicate and beautifully presented, pure ballet movements, and just pure stunning artistry.
As a ballet dancer, you often hear people say - you just have to move and it will all come to life! And that is what Beatrice embodied in her " **Whisper of the Tutus".** She had absolutely NO issues at all when it came to conveying a deep emotion that we the audience just could not look away from! Her **white tutu** perfectly matched the graceful movements of her body. It gave the performance an ethereal beauty and quality that really lifted the act into the realms of "art and beauty"!
The next act has a different energy, something for those who appreciate raw energy. I love a bit of excitement, and I was most certainly NOT disappointed when **Delilah Dazzle** took the stage.
* "The Leotard of Leathal"Delilah brought something extra special - " **The Leotard of Leathal"** - a display of moves, energy, raw power and style that I haven't seen in years! Her "leotard" was stunning - completely covering the full length of her long, lean legs with a single streak of the deepest, most beautiful royal purple. The "leotard" had a cut so simple that I'm amazed anyone dared to even think it would work, but Delilah somehow made the impossible look the easiest, most effortless of things and turned it into a piece of utter and totally believable beauty.
Delilah's moves were like nothing I have seen before, powerful and intense - I loved it - the pure intensity that just sucked the air out of my lungs! And the energy, you could cut it with a knife!
* The Grand Finale:Finally we've got to **The Grand Finale!** As the final curtain closed on Delilah Dazzle's dazzling performance, we wondered how on earth any dancer would be able to live up to her level of skill and passion - but as the lights went down we heard the sound of thunderous applause and I knew that our final dancer, **Cora Clair de Lune** had stepped onto the stage.
**Cora Clair de Lune**, wearing the simplest, **classicest of white tutus** brought something beautifully elegant and with a level of refinement that took the crowd completely by surprise. You just KNEW, from the second she touched the stage, that she had a certain *something special*, and, wow, she certainly delivered!
In fact, her act has left our judges speechless and completely humbled.
