Iām back, darlings, back from the land of leaping, pirouetting, and plies ā a week spent at the National Ballet School in London, and oh my, it was a total dream. Theyāre the absolute beeās knees, you know. The students are exquisite, and the teachers are such darlings, simply divine!
Now, while it wasnāt all swan lake and champagne, darling, thereās a serious question that's been bouncing around my head. Are we all a little bit obsessed with tutus, you ask? Are they, perhaps, a little too fabulous? Well, darling, I wouldnāt have it any other way, but after a week of tutu immersion therapy, Iāve reached a conclusion ā **the tutu needs to have a bit of a comeback**. Itās a fashion crime to confine these magnificent creations to the stage, and I think itās time to break the ballet barrier and take these wonders to the streets.
The question is, where to start, darling? Should we ditch the office trousers for a little pink pouffe? Maybe skip the morning jog in those frumpy running tights and strut in a perfectly structured white tulle masterpiece?
