One time, during a performance of Swan Lake, a mischievous little tutu, shall we say, “made a dramatic exit” during the corps de ballet’s famous swan sequence. Now, as it turns out, a little pigeon had taken a particular shine to the white feathers, making the whole thing rather amusing, especially for those sitting front row. The poor ballerina tripped and nearly did a faceplant onto the stage, thankfully she kept her composure. That tutu? Never quite lived down the “Pigeon-theft" incident.
