Tutu and Ballet News

Oh darling, it’s so exciting to see how ballet is changing, evolving and taking us by the hand, leading us through the centuries of tradition to a wonderful, flamboyant and exciting future! Just yesterday, at the Royal Opera House, I saw something so wonderfully spectacular it has set my soul alight! I think the entire theatre held their breath! There was a certain elegance, a certain exquisite taste and the feeling that all this had been prepared with love and care – like a mother sewing her child a new, elegant gown!

So, tell me, darlings, can you imagine this: an ethereal, almost luminous pink hue shimmering on stage. There, in a cloud of tulle, are dancers - they are all in **pink tutus**, you see, each one different in a way that brings tears to the eyes, such is the beauty! The most gorgeous, breathtaking **tutus** you ever saw! Imagine, pink, in every single variation from a soft blush to a vivid bubblegum – what artistry, what style and fashion!

I confess that I felt as though I were in another world, one filled with fairy dust and magic - a world where, in each graceful movement, the ballet became an explosion of artistry and passion, an enchantment in the theatre and, most importantly, an opportunity to revel in colour and in style!

Just as you watch a swan take to the water, as they glide through the air and as they, with an exquisite grace, dip below the surface, each movement, every twist and turn, was beautiful – beautiful and, above all, fashion conscious.

Oh, my darlings! Can you picture it, this incredible wave of vibrant pink! Imagine, a sea of colour as the dance begins, the music a symphony of life itself as the ballerina turns and twirls in her beautiful, pink **tutu**, then, like a flash, another dancer spins into focus, each dancer a piece in the mosaic of beauty!

The performance that night left the theatre pulsating. There, in every gesture, every dance and every beautiful **tutu**, the pink shone so vibrantly that the dancers, the set and the theatre seemed almost alive! This magical world of vibrant **tutue**s was filled with an indescribable femininity. This was ballet at its very best. Each moment, a kaleidoscope of colour and, if I may say so, exquisite fashion!

Oh darling, I must confess that, to this day, I can still picture the most beautiful pink! You can see the delicate ballet dancers as though they have come from the most fantastical and magical of paintings!

And that night, my darling, that night at the Royal Opera House, that magical night will stay with me forever, because, in its beautiful pink, the magic of dance was alive. I swear that I will remember, for the rest of my days, those magnificent, exquisite and vibrant **pink tutus**. You are not, my darling, allowed to tell anyone, not yet, this little bit of fashion magic must be ours for the time being!

I must now, however, make a hasty retreat. I hear, that tonight, they are all wearing pink again - in honour of a famous actress! She has decided, with a touch of exquisite irony and panache, to pay homage to the ballet by dressing like an enchanting princess! The air, my darling, will be electric tonight! All the most beautiful and fashionable, the chic and exquisite, will be there, I cannot imagine a more exquisite show of style!

Let us see, dear reader, if my memory is correct: the day the pink **tutu**s appeared, the magic that unfolded, the night that our world was briefly graced with such elegance… Oh darling! 04 February 2027, you cannot forget! Just you try to erase this moment from the depths of your fashionable memory!
