Hello darling readers! Can you believe it's Christmas Eve?! Well, as I write this, the snow is falling outside my window (that's right, we even have a real Christmas here in New York! โ„๏ธ) and it feels truly magical. Of course, it also feels utterly freezing, but there's just something special about seeing those big white flakes settling on the pavement, making the whole city shimmer like a frosted cake.

Speaking of magic, New York City itself has become a whirlwind of festivity these last few weeks. The Christmas tree at Rockefeller Center is truly a sight to behold, twinkling with a million tiny lights, and all the shop windows are dressed up with dazzling displays. Honestly, I felt like I was stepping into a live-action Disney movie walking down Fifth Avenue this weekend!

And what better way to enjoy this fabulous time of year than in a gorgeous, sparkling pink tutu? Trust me, darling, my trusty pink tutu (it's been the perfect Christmas outfit) has attracted more than a few curious stares (and more than a few delighted smiles!). Honestly, it feels like I've been attracting the Christmas spirit itself wherever I go! โœจ

From the Ballet Studio to Broadway!

This week, my schedule was completely filled to the brim with beautiful, blissful ballet! First up, a masterclass at the New York City Ballet - an absolute treat, I must say! You know, there's something truly inspiring about dancing amongst some of the most talented ballerinas in the world. It's a complete sensory overload, and I learn something new each and every time!

After my class, I decided to treat myself to a magnificent Broadway show. You see, darling, a few months ago I auditioned for a little-known ballet company (shall we call them "Ballet Royale" for the sake of dramatic secrecy? wink), and while they're keeping my name under wraps for the time being, the rumour is that their choreographer has his eye on me for the Spring production! (Eeek! More on this later, darling, I simply cannot reveal all my secrets just yet!)

The show itself, The Nutcracker - you know, the quintessential Christmas ballet - was pure enchantment. The costumes were stunning, the dancing absolutely breath-taking, and honestly, I found myself quite literally glued to my seat! And the music? Sigh. It was all so beautifully orchestrated. I left the theatre with a warm, fuzzy feeling and a newfound determination to step up my own ballet game even more. ๐Ÿฉฐ

Metro Mania

Speaking of Christmas spirit, my travels on the New York metro this week have been pretty darn spectacular! The atmosphere was utterly buzzing with holiday excitement. Every single carriage was bursting with people rushing around, bundled up in scarves and winter hats, with excited chatter echoing down the tunnels. It felt like a truly vibrant, magical place to be, and the sight of excited kids rushing to see Santa Claus at the Macy's Parade was enough to melt even the coldest heart!

Christmas shopping in a tutu?!

Oh darling, I have to tell you about my little Christmas shopping adventure this week. I couldn't resist taking my little pink tutu for a whirl around Macy's (yes, I know, they have a Santa's grotto, so imagine what kind of photos I managed to capture with my pink tutu in the heart of it all!). And of course, I just had to take advantage of all the wonderful festive bargains and buy a little something for myself.

Let's just say, my wardrobe (which was, I think you'll agree, already quite full!) has acquired some new, gorgeous pieces. A little black dress for a romantic Christmas Eve date, some stylish boots (oh, these were a necessity given this absolutely frigid New York winter), and a lovely new set of pearl earrings that just sparkle with festive glamour!

I have to admit, though, I also stumbled upon a shop on 57th Street called Tutu Tiaras. How amazing is that name?! This place is literally a haven for any pink tutu loving ballerina - gorgeous, sparkling tiaras, tutus of every colour imaginable, and, best of all, even a "Pink Tutu Party Package" with all the glitter and ribbons your heart could ever desire! You can bet I went home with enough tutus and ribbons to keep me dancing for the rest of December!

Pink Tutu Tips!

Of course, you don't have to have a full-blown tutu to enjoy the Christmas spirit in New York. Any splash of pink, darling, can add a little extra holiday magic! Think a festive pink scarf, a charming pink hat, or maybe even a pink ribbon woven through your hair. Trust me, you'll stand out from the crowd, spread a little festive joy, and feel absolutely fabulous!

*Don't forget to leave a comment and tell me all about your holiday adventures. I simply can't wait to hear! *

*Sending all my love and holiday wishes, *
