The Big Apple is truly bursting with excitement, and this pink tutu princess is right in the middle of it all!

My darling pink tulle is a vibrant blush - so much softer than the shocking pinks of yesterday! The delicate layers dance beautifully in the winter wind, making even the most mundane of journeys feel like a ballet scene. Just imagine, a whole city in pink tutus! A Monday in NYC: The Tutu Adventures Begin
So, Monday morning found me flitting through the bustling streets of the city, my pink tutu billowing behind me. The scent of hot dogs and bagels swirled around me, adding a truly American twist to my English sensibilities! But it was the energy of New York that truly swept me off my feet. I am drawn to the power of New York's ambition - I think its great - there's such a great 'can-do' spirit here. I need to add a little bit of that 'can do' to my world and spread it to everyone!
Let's hop on the metro!
I love, love, love New York's subway system! It's a vibrant, exciting, and sometimes overwhelming dance of human energy. Just hopping onto the metro, clutching a bouquet of vibrant pink peonies, always puts a smile on my face. The gentle rumble of the train, the cacophony of human voices - a symphony of urban life!
Oh my word! I've spotted a dance studio!
What better way to kick off a Monday than a dance class? This adorable little studio called "Steps On Broadway" tucked away on a quiet side street has the perfect blend of chic and classic - oh and a giant window for passers by to witness my awesomeness, of course! My pointe shoes glided across the polished floor, a joyful pirouette in the heart of Manhattan.
Tonight: "Phantom of the Opera"!
A masterpiece of drama and musical prowess. My friend, a true ballet aficionado, snagged us some front row tickets. Imagine, all that sheer luxury - from the plush red velvet seats to the chandelier! (Oh my goodness - I had to buy a pink sparkly phone case for this trip!)
Time to Treat Myself!
As I sauntered down Fifth Avenue, my eyes sparkled like the dewdrops on a pink rose petal, reflecting the lights of the department stores. I couldn't resist a detour for some serious window shopping - my heart sang at the sight of delicate cashmere sweaters and silk blouses, oh! And of course, the ultimate girly pleasure: a fabulous pink clutch (because every pink-tutu girl needs an appropriate bag!), just the right size to hold my makeup compact and maybe, just maybe, some delicious chocolate!
