Hello, my lovely Tutu Tribe! I'm writing to you from the heart of the Big Apple itself, and let me tell you, this city never sleeps, not even for a tutu-wearing ballerina like myself. I’ve been waltzing around New York for a week now, and it's been absolutely spectacular, bursting with the excitement of a thousand opening nights!
But let’s rewind for a moment. If you’ve been following me on my pink tutu travels, you know I fund my adventures through my ballet performances. This week I’ve been fortunate to be a part of a wonderful production of “Swan Lake,” taking to the stage at a lovely, intimate theatre in the heart of the Upper West Side.
It's always a joy to bring the magic of ballet to new audiences, and I find there’s something incredibly satisfying about watching the New York crowd appreciate the grace and artistry of a classic performance. Every step, every arabesque, every graceful turn, felt like a celebration of movement, passion, and pure joy – all while adorned in the most fabulous tutus, of course!
Adventures in the Big Apple
And as always, I’m absolutely soaking up every second of my time in the city. This week alone, I've already conquered the iconic Empire State Building (where else to go for breathtaking views of the city?!), indulged in the city's incredible shopping scene (hello, Bloomingdales!), and discovered hidden gems in Brooklyn's vibrant art scene. But my most beloved form of New York exploration is, of course, via the legendary subway system. There's something so charming about whizzing beneath the bustling city streets in a sleek silver train, clutching my pink tutu bag.
A Ballet-Filled Evening
This evening, though, my dear tutu lovers, will be extra special. It's an evening of pure balletic bliss! I’m thrilled to be heading to see a performance of “The Nutcracker” by the New York City Ballet at Lincoln Center.
The magic of this ballet has captivated me since childhood, and to experience it within the magnificent setting of the David H. Koch Theater… oh, my heart practically skips a beat just thinking about it!
I can’t wait to be swept away by Tchaikovsky's enchanting music, to lose myself in the grandeur of the stage design, and to marvel at the extraordinary artistry of these world-class dancers. It's a night of sheer delight, and one I’ll definitely be chronicling here in detail for all of you!

But my love affair with New York doesn't just extend to ballet. The city itself is like a grand stage where fashion truly takes centre stage. Every day feels like a runway, and every outfit, an opportunity to showcase your own personal style.
Today, I'm donning a bold, bright pink tulle skirt – perfect for strolling around the city. It's teamed with a crisp white blouse and, of course, my signature pink ballet flats. I believe in a tutu for every occasion, my darlings, and believe me, there are plenty of tutu-tastic moments in New York City!
I love how effortlessly this city combines elegance and ease. Whether you're dining at a Michelin-starred restaurant or simply grabbing a hotdog on the corner, New York invites you to embrace a chic attitude and own your personal style.

This week, I’ve been trying to share my love of the tutu with as many New Yorkers as I can! I’ve had some very enthusiastic responses - you'd be surprised how many people are intrigued by the idea of rocking a pink tutu. Some folks were hesitant at first, but once they saw how confidently I carry it off, their hesitations vanished!
The best part? The tutu isn’t just about the pink, it's about empowerment. It’s about feeling beautiful and confident, about dancing through life with a playful spirit. I've realised that the pink tutu isn't just an outfit – it's a way of life!
