The Big Apple always has something to keep you on your toes, and this week has been no exception! My pink tutu and I have been waltzing through the streets, twirling with the crowds, and taking in the sheer wonder of this amazing city. It's Monday, and you know what that means... time for a pink-tastic update from your favourite ballerina blogger. Let's dive right in, shall we?
Ballet on Broadway! A Glittering Encore!My week kicked off with an absolute treat - a ballet performance at the legendary Lincoln Center. Just stepping into that iconic building always sets my heart racing. It's like stepping into a fairytale! Tonight was no exception. A modern reimagining of "Swan Lake" - with an explosive, visually stunning modern score. The ballerinas were absolutely magnificent! Their every movement was a work of art, their costumes - well, let’s just say, a feast for the eyes.
And speaking of feast for the eyes, let me tell you I just had to snag a pair of fabulous, sparkling pink shoes from Bergdorf Goodman. What’s a girl to wear with her pink tutu at a ballet show, other than a pair of shoes that are just as sparkling?
### A New York Minute!
Speaking of New York moments, you know how much I love to take the metro - it's a real part of the city's character. Every journey feels like a little adventure! Yesterday, I found myself seated next to an incredibly talented street artist. He had a small sketch book filled with beautiful portraits of the city and its residents, every face painted with a story just waiting to be told. We got chatting, and I learned so much about his life and inspiration. Just another example of the incredible stories and energy that you find around every corner in New York City!
### The Fashionista's Guide to a Tutu-ific Afternoon!
A little retail therapy is always a good idea. So today, my dear tutus, we ventured into the heart of the fashion district. It's no surprise that I spent most of the afternoon in the shoe department - because, let's be real, every girl needs another pair of shoes, right? A new pair of pink pointes, of course. To match my new tutu, I even snagged a cute little pink sequined clutch for those essential ballet class goodies, and, naturally, a pink and pearl ballerina inspired bracelet!
The Ballet's Secret - Keeping My Body Ballet-ReadyMy trip to New York has been busy and packed with ballet performances and adventures. A little secret that my fellow ballet enthusiasts will know is, we need to make time to take care of our bodies - both mentally and physically - so we can keep up with the fast paced world that is New York City. I always make sure to squeezing in a little ballet class when I'm on the road. It really helps to keep me focused and in tune with my body! So you can find me at the "Dance with a Pink Tutu" class every Wednesday, at the Studio City, in New York's ballet mecca - the heart of Times Square.
Finding Your Tutu-ic Identity!Now, I know some of you might be a little nervous about the thought of wearing a pink tutu in public. And let me tell you, when I first started wearing my pink tutu around, I had my doubts. But here is the thing - it's all about embracing yourself and finding your own style!

For me, that feeling of tranquility is absolutely essential to keep my pink tutu spirit high! It is a fantastic way to reflect on the day’s adventures and prepare for whatever magic awaits in the future!
