Pink Tutu Blog Paris: Post No. 13 - A Whirlwind of Parisian Pinkness!

Bonjour, mes amies!

It's Saturday, and you know what that means? It's Pink Tutu Blog Paris time! 🩰 🗼

This week, I'm practically bursting with excitement. Paris, oh Paris! You really do have a magic touch. Just breathing the air here seems to make my steps a little lighter, my smiles a little brighter, and my wardrobe even more flamboyant!

A Eurostar Whirlwind

I arrived in Paris just a few hours ago, the Eurostar a smooth, swift, and utterly chic way to travel. As soon as I set foot in the Gare du Nord, I knew I was in for a treat. The city was alive, abuzz with the delightful clatter of street performers and the joyous laughter of Parisians strolling past.

It’s truly amazing to think how much I’ve accomplished through my dancing. I was just a little ballerina from Derbyshire, England. But now, through hard work and a whole lotta tutus, I’ve realised my dream and travelled to the City of Lights itself! I feel so incredibly fortunate. And honestly, how could anyone resist such a dreamy destination for a little Pink Tutu adventure? 💖

Pink in the City of Love

The streets of Paris, like my tutus, are always in fashion. You really feel the passion for creativity and the dedication to style that flows through the city. Everywhere you look, you find beautiful boutiques, breathtaking architecture, and vibrant cafes with overflowing flower displays. My camera is practically overheating from snapping photos! 📸

My pink tutu is a little star here. Today I took a stroll down the Champs-Élysées, and let me tell you, the Parisians love my bright pink! So many friendly smiles, so many appreciative glances, and of course, many envious stares from fellow tutu enthusiasts. 😂

The Magic of a Parisian Ballet

Tonight, my tutu will take centre stage! I’m seeing the ‘Swan Lake’ ballet performance at the Paris Opera. Can you even imagine? Me, a ballerina from a small village in England, sitting amongst the Parisian elite, soaking in the grandeur and majesty of this iconic ballet. It’s absolutely unreal.

The excitement is almost too much to handle! I'll make sure to give you all the gossip from tonight's performance next week, but one thing is certain - the tutu will be present and correct! 💖

A Parisian Feast

What would a Pink Tutu blog be without a little bit of indulgence? I had a delectable lunch at a charming little café just around the corner from the Louvre. Imagine this - creamy mushroom soup, fresh bread, a glass of crisp French wine, and all under a sunlit Parisian awning. Perfection! It was almost as good as the exquisite macarons I bought earlier at Ladurée! I simply can't resist those beautiful colours! I just have to admit, the city is certainly giving me an appetite for adventure and a sweet tooth for delicious Parisian delicacies. 🍰

Parisian Style - Pink Tutu Approved!

Of course, no trip to Paris is complete without a spot of shopping. You all know I’m a little bit of a fashionista! This city, as vibrant and flamboyant as a perfectly twirled tutu, is simply a feast for the eyes and the heart. The chic Parisian boutiques are a sartorial delight. From stunning haute couture to the prettiest little vintage finds, Paris has something for every style. I'll be sure to share my new Parisian purchases next week. 🤫

Tutu-fully Inspired

One of my favourite things about Paris is its infectious joie de vivre. There’s a spirit of playfulness and creativity that permeates every corner. And it just makes you want to get up and twirl, doesn’t it? So of course, I’ve already added several pink tutu-inspired Parisian routines to my repertoire. Stay tuned for videos and updates on the pink-tutu.com website! 🩰

Stay tuned for next week's post!

Well, it’s time for me to get ready for tonight’s performance! Paris has captured my heart. Until next week, remember: pink tutus are always a good idea. Don’t be afraid to embrace your inner ballerina! 💖

Bisous!

Emma
