Hello my darlings, and welcome back to the Pink Tutu blog! 🎀 This week, I'm beaming from the beautiful city of Paris! Can you believe it? Your girl is in the City of Lights, sipping coffee on cobblestone streets, watching adorable Parisian dogs strut their stuff (sometimes wearing chic little jackets, no less!), and of course, taking in every last bit of fashion inspiration. 🇫🇷
This is post number 91, which means I've been sharing my adventures with you for over a year now! I'm still pinching myself over how lucky I am to be doing what I love: sharing my passion for ballet, travelling, and of course, pink!
I did make a grand entrance into Paris, if I do say so myself. What's a ballerina to do but travel in style? That's why I took the EuroStar from London. There's something about travelling by train that always makes me feel so sophisticated. Imagine, me, a pink tutu-wearing ballerina, journeying across the Channel, feeling like I'm right out of a French film. 😉
Once I arrived in Paris, it was time to shop! 🛍️ Let's be honest, every girl needs a new pink tutu in Paris, am I right? Well, darling, this Parisian has found her new one! It's absolutely divine, all sparkly and floaty, the kind of pink tutu that makes you want to twirl for hours on end! 💖
This week I went to a wonderful performance by the Paris Opera Ballet. It was such a magical evening, filled with beautiful costumes, talented dancers, and breathtaking choreography. Seeing the passion and dedication that went into every move had me utterly captivated! 😍 It's so wonderful to feel part of the ballet world and connect with other artists and performers.
Paris truly has everything for a fashionista and ballet enthusiast like me! This Saturday, 22nd September, 2001, I'm off to Shakespeare and Company! You guys, can you believe? I've always wanted to visit this incredible bookshop. It's known for its huge selection of English-language books, its cozy atmosphere, and it’s said to be filled with inspiration for any creative soul. And guess what, it even has its own pet cat called Shakespeare! 🐱 That's a must-see for me!
Tonight, I'm going to the theatre to see the famous Moulin Rouge. I can hardly contain my excitement! Can you imagine? Pink feathers, glittering costumes, the iconic can-can, and oh-so-many pink sparkles - I'm basically going to melt into a puddle of excitement! I can just picture myself swaying along to the music, wearing my gorgeous new pink tutu, feeling like a glamorous Parisienne.
Speaking of Parisiennes...did you know it's Paris Fashion Week here right now? 👠 You can practically feel the buzz of creativity and excitement all over the city! So, naturally, I've been soaking up the stylish vibe and finding endless fashion inspiration. There are just so many fabulous outfits to admire. I might just try a little street fashion myself, a pink tutu paired with some vintage chic, of course. Just wait for that blog post! 🤫
