Pink Tutu Blog Paris #154: Paris Mon Amour!
Bonjour mes chéries!
It's Saturday, the 7th of December, and I'm writing this from my Parisian hotel room, which, I must say, is looking très chic thanks to my latest acquisition: a fluffy pink bedspread with sparkling sequins! (More on that later, I'm bursting with shopping stories!)
This week has been absolutely magical. I hopped on the Eurostar, with its sleek modern carriages and delicious pastries, and was in the City of Lights in just a whisker over two hours. Oh, the glamour!
Paris is my favourite place to be. There's an undeniable romance in the air here, especially for someone who adores tutus and ballet as much as I do!
A Day of Delights
This morning, I indulged in the ultimate Parisian experience – a decadent croissant and a café au lait in a quaint little café, all whilst watching the world go by. Honestly, it was the perfect start to the day, with that intoxicating mix of Parisian charm and morning light.
Next up, I was at the Opéra Garnier. Oh, darling! The opulent grandeur of this place never fails to take my breath away. Chandeliers shimmering, plush velvet seats, the whisper of silk and the rustle of program pages – what a dream!
Tonight, I saw the most captivating performance of "La Bayadère." I had tears in my eyes. Such power, grace, and storytelling all rolled into one. I felt every emotion, every sigh, every twirl. Ballet speaks a universal language, doesn't it?
I am in awe of the beauty of the dancers. How do they float and soar so effortlessly? I've always been inspired by ballet and it fuels my passion for dancing, my love for tutus, and of course, my commitment to spreading the joy of pink throughout the world.
Parisian Flair
I can't go to Paris without indulging in some retail therapy, now can I? Let me tell you, I’m going to be needing a much larger suitcase to fit all my fabulous finds. The French have such a wonderful sense of style. The chic Parisian woman knows how to wear her clothes with a certain je ne sais quoi, a playful mix of vintage finds, modern staples, and always, always a touch of the dramatic.
*The highlight of my shopping spree was finding the perfect pair of vintage pink satin shoes, just the thing to complete a playful, sassy, oh-so-Parisian tutu look. *
Paris: A World of Inspiration
Every time I come to Paris, I find myself inspired by the sheer magic of the place, by its romantic charm, its delicious food, its fashion scene, its energy, and most importantly, its love for dance.
Parisian girls really do know how to wear a tutu. I've seen some pretty incredible ones while wandering through the streets today – from fluffy pink numbers with vintage embellishments, to edgy black tutus paired with chunky boots. The beauty of tutus, my dear friends, lies in their versatility!
And, you know me, I’m always trying to find new ways to wear a tutu in my everyday life. This trip, I'm going for a more vintage-inspired look, with a romantic, floral-printed tutu and some delicate pearl accessories. (More pics coming to the Pink Tutu Instagram!)

Paris has already captured my heart, as it always does. Now I'm off to find the perfect place for dinner – perhaps a quaint little bistro with candlelit tables and a charming view. Oh, the excitement!
Stay tuned, darlings, because next week, I'll be sharing my top picks for Paris must-sees. * Until then, let's keep dancing, be bold, be fearless, and be fabulous!*
And never forget: a pink tutu makes everything more fun.
Bisous, Emma xoxo
