Now, as a ballerina who lives for the finer things, Paris is a must for any tutu-loving, fashionista heart. Let's dive into the details!
A Eurostar Fairy Tale
Leaving the English countryside, I boarded the sleek, silver bullet that whisked me away to Paris. It was an enchanting journey, surrounded by the quiet hum of fellow travellers, and all I needed was a good book and my favourite pink cashmere blanket. Speaking of pink, I, of course, had to rock a pink-themed outfit! My choice was a silky, pale pink dress with a delicate, feathered shrug, and my signature, oh-so-tutu. Honestly, I get so many smiles from fellow travellers! They always get such a thrill out of seeing a pink tutu gracefully prancing onto the Eurostar. Who needs to travel incognito when you can wear a bright, pink, whimsical sign that screams 'Joy' and 'Dance'!
Enchanting Paris
Arriving at Gare du Nord, I was greeted by the symphony of Parisian city sounds – car horns, cheerful chatter, the melodious tune of a street musician's violin, all melded together to create a unique, vibrant energy. It’s always so exciting, every Parisian trip feels like stepping into a captivating dream, filled with artistic wonders and delicious discoveries!
A Ballet Treat: At the Opéra Garnier
As any self-respecting ballerina knows, Paris has an amazing ballet scene. Of course, the Opéra Garnier is a MUST! The building itself is breathtakingly ornate. It was pure delight to see the plush velvet, sparkling chandeliers, and majestic painted ceilings! The ballet itself was magnificent. We were graced with a performance of Tchaikovsky's 'Swan Lake.' There's simply no ballet that can rival 'Swan Lake.' I’m utterly in awe of the power of movement, the emotions they evoke – it's magic! Afterwards, I found the prettiest café nearby. A warm cappuccino and French pastries completed my perfect ballet evening.

Of course, no trip to Paris is complete without some retail therapy! I couldn’t resist a spree along the beautiful Champs-Élysées! There's something so special about discovering the boutiques and designer houses here. From exquisite lace to vibrant colours and elegant designs, Paris fashion is always a delightful, captivating, and utterly inspiring experience. Of course, I made sure to grab a few treasures that speak to my heart: a flowing pink maxi-skirt perfect for twirling through Parisian streets, a delicate vintage floral scarf, and some shimmering gold ballet flats to add that extra flair! I am such a believer that fashion is a form of expression. And who doesn't feel empowered by choosing outfits that celebrate your personality, like mine. You wear the pink, the glitter, the tulle! Because fashion, my darlings, is for expressing your own beautiful self.
A Moment of Reflection
As I sit in my little hotel room overlooking the twinkling lights of the city, I reflect on all the beauty, grace, and love I have experienced in this charming city. It’s this beautiful, magical feeling that I hope I can share with all of you! I encourage each one of you to find your own "Paris" - whatever brings you joy, beauty, and that twinkly-eyed excitement!
