Pink Tutu Blog - Paris: Post #452 - A Pink Tutu Parisian Adventure!

Bonjour mes amis!

It’s Saturday, and that means it’s time for another Parisian adventure with yours truly, Emma, your pink tutu-wearing travel companion. And today? Well, today, Paris is bursting with colour! Even the sky above the Seine looks like a vibrant pink and blue watercolour painting, matching my newest tutu (more on that later!).

As you know, my weekly Paris blog posts are all about finding those hidden pink gems amongst the Parisian glitter, and this week is a real gem! But before we get to the pink bits, let's rewind to my journey across the channel...

EuroStar Adventures

This week, the EuroStar carried me, a pink tutu and two giant suitcases crammed with outfits for a week of Paris-ian shopping! (You’d be surprised how much room a tutu takes up
even if you fold it really neatly). The journey was the perfect blend of travel and glamour. The carriage felt like a luxurious salon on wheels, perfect for catching up on fashion magazines and enjoying a pot of strong, sweet tea (a must!). I even had time for a little ballet warm-up, much to the delight of my fellow passengers!

A Day in the Parisian Spotlight

Now, my first stop? Le Marais! I mean, who could resist those cute boutiques and vintage shops?! (Trust me, Paris makes my inner-fashionista scream!). And wouldn’t you know it, I found a vintage dress that just begged me to wear it - a bright pink satin number, perfect for Parisian nights! I've already got plans for a fancy restaurant tonight, so watch this space for my new Parisian look.

Next up, I ambled through the bustling markets, marveling at all the colourful cheeses, pastries, and the scent of fresh lavender - everything screamed “Parisienne” - but in the most charming, welcoming way! After all, who doesn't love a bit of a market stroll with a pink tutu swirling about your feet?!

A Ballet-lover’s Dream

But this is Paris, and the city simply demands some culture! Today's ballet fix? "Giselle" at the Palais Garnier! The Paris Opera is my absolute favourite - the plush velvet seats, the breathtaking chandelier, and, of course, the dazzling performances. My pink tutu danced along to every graceful move!

Oh, and for all you ballet lovers, be warned: tonight's performance will be extra special. A very well-known international dancer is playing Giselle's role. It’s the perfect Parisian ballet fix!

Shopping for Pink Gems

This evening, I have a date with the most glamorous street in Paris: Avenue Montaigne. Imagine the Parisian glamour - perfectly chic women strolling in designer outfits, luxurious shops shimmering with light, and a constant hum of Parisian energy!

Of course, I couldn’t resist slipping into one of the most incredible boutiques. (It shall remain nameless!) They just had to have something that perfectly matched my newly purchased pink satin dress, you know, a pink tutu for that chic-Parisian evening look!

You might be surprised, but a new pink tutu in a high-fashion shop doesn’t break the bank (especially if you manage to snag it on sale). My pockets are feeling light and my heart is full, and the tutu is oh so perfect - I know you all will love it when I post a picture online!

My Pink Tutu Advice for the Day

Today was a Parisian dream! If you are ever visiting, do make time for a delicious, frothy cappuccino on a sunny cafĂ© terrace, lose yourself in the artistry of a grand ballet, and don't forget to have a pink tutu with you wherever you go! It’s a simple way to bring a touch of your personality to the world! And if you need a few shopping tips - you’ll just have to wait for next Saturday's blog!

Till next week, bon voyage mes amis! And remember: every day can be an adventure when you have a pink tutu to carry you along the way!

Au revoir!

Emma
