Pink Tutu Paris: Bonjour from the City of Lights! (Post #460)

Salut les filles! It's Emma here, back with another instalment of Pink Tutu Paris! I'm absolutely bursting with excitement to share all my adventures from this fabulous city, the home of couture and chic, of course, Paris!

As many of you know, I'm absolutely obsessed with travel - and trains are definitely my preferred method of getting around. They're so stylish, comfortable and relaxing, perfect for indulging in a good book or a magazine and dreaming up new blog posts (especially when you're travelling in Europe). This week, I arrived in the French capital in style thanks to the ever-reliable Eurostar, and it's fair to say I'm completely smitten with Paris already.

A Fashionista's Dream

Let's be honest, every girl dreams of experiencing the magic of Paris - the iconic Eiffel Tower, the quaint cobblestone streets, the delicious food (ooh, croissants and pain au chocolat, I'm coming for you!), and of course, the unparalleled fashion. Paris is a fashionista's dream come true, and I'm not just talking about designer boutiques. The style of Parisian women is truly something else. Every Parisian woman, regardless of age, exudes effortless cool, and they just seem to own the streets with their perfectly tailored outfits, delicate jewellery and effortless charm. I am simply in awe!

Parisian Perfection

Speaking of effortless charm, my outfit this weekend is perfect for strolling through the Parisian streets. Imagine this: a beautiful blush pink tutu, light and airy, with a delicate sprinkle of silver glitter. To top it off, I've paired it with a classic white fitted top (for a touch of Parisian elegance) and my trusty pink ballet flats for all-day comfort and chic. I'm all about embracing femininity and elegance, and this look definitely reflects that.

Adventures in Ballet

I’m absolutely thrilled that I’m here to see a legendary ballet performance tonight - "Swan Lake"! The world famous Paris Opera Ballet, and the stunning Palais Garnier are must sees on anyone’s ballet itinerary, so I am particularly thrilled to be able to share this experience with all of you. Imagine the beautiful sets, the stunning costumes, and the raw talent of the dancers. I'm already getting goosebumps just thinking about it. (I can't wait to tell you all about it next week).

Pink Tutu Inspirations

And speaking of ballet, my pink tutu has become quite the conversation starter during my Parisian adventures. As you all know, I'm passionate about promoting pink tutus and the incredible joy and empowerment they bring to everyone! You know the saying "pink tutus bring smiles," well, I'm taking this on the road to Paris. Let me tell you, Parisians are quite captivated by my tutu. Just yesterday, I was on the Metro, admiring the artistic charm of the station, and a lovely couple, with their beautiful little girl, couldn’t resist giggling at my tutu. I shared the pink tutu magic, giving the girl a pink tutu wave - and they loved it! My mission to spread pink tutu joy continues in every city, every corner of the world.

French Flavors

You can’t visit Paris without indulging in the incredible food. And today's treat was a divine pastry and coffee, enjoyed on a quaint sidewalk cafe near the Louvre. I love watching the city go by with a cup of delicious, freshly brewed coffee. It's just so utterly French.

My Favourite Paris Moments (So far!)

Of course, the highlights of my trip so far are:

  • Walking the iconic Champs-Élysées: Just like in the movies, I found myself gazing at the glittering shops, soaking up the lively atmosphere and of course, snapping a few photos!
  • Enjoying a "croque monsieur" at a traditional cafe: French cuisine, how do you do it?! The flavours of Paris are exquisite.
  • People-watching in Montmartre: The artists, the couples, the charming cafes - Montmartre is simply enchanting!
  • Discovering the *Bouquinistes along the Seine*: The colourful book stalls along the riverbanks are a charming reminder of the history and culture of Paris.
  • Taking a leisurely *river cruise on the Seine*: The city lights reflecting in the water at night were breathtaking.

    My Next Steps...

This is just the beginning! I’ve got many more adventures in store for my trip to Paris, so be sure to keep checking back each week for my Paris posts, filled with all the fun, pink, fashion and travel tips you need to have your own pink-tutu Paris experience.

And who knows, maybe you'll be inspired to ditch the dress and try out a tutu too? It’s all about feeling fabulous, feminine and finding joy in the simplest things.
