Oh là là, darling! This week I'm in Paris, the City of Lights! And I'm finally back in a city where my love of all things pink and fabulous feels totally at home. My trusty pink tutu, naturally, is packed, ready to take on the Parisian streets!
A Magical Eurostar Ride
The journey on the Eurostar was divine. It’s the perfect way to travel - it’s like being whisked away on a fluffy pink cloud! Imagine a train that takes you right into the heart of Paris without having to even take to the skies. I am all for a good bit of magic in my life, especially if it involves a journey to Paris! The smooth ride and beautiful views from the windows filled me with so much joy. I can't wait to share all of the delightful adventures with you this weekend!
The Magic of Paris Starts Immediately!
Arriving in Gare du Nord, I was greeted by the most incredible Parisian scene - bustling crowds, street performers playing beautiful melodies, and that unique scent of coffee and fresh pastries that only Paris can offer! It was a truly Parisian welcome, complete with a pink beret and a perfectly placed Parisian chic! Oh darling, this city truly is the perfect fit for a pink tutu-loving girl like myself!
First Impressions, My Loves
And now for a confession… I’m pretty sure that even the pigeons in Paris know I’m here because of the sheer amount of 'oohs' and 'ahs' as I stepped out of the train. Paris is such a style-conscious city, and it seems they have a weakness for a little bit of pink tutu magic! But even better, this isn’t even the start of my weekend! I’ve got an exciting ballet performance to attend on Sunday! And yes, my tutu will be front and center!
My Darling Parisian Wardrobe
What's a girl like me to do with an entire Parisian weekend stretching before her? Well, let’s just say it’s the perfect excuse for some exquisite Parisian shopping, naturally! I’m planning a pilgrimage to Galeries Lafayette and Printemps for a good dose of chic Parisian fashion! From elegant Parisian dresses to the perfect pair of pink ballet flats (that would complement my new pink tutu perfectly), I am all ready to fill my suitcase with chic Parisian goodies.
The Ballet: A Parisian Love Story
I have tickets to a breathtaking performance of La Bayadère at the Palais Garnier on Sunday! Imagine: the beautiful dancers, the grand, chandeliered setting of the Paris Opera House, and the majestic stories these dances tell - pure magic! The show itself is just as magical as Paris itself.
The City Lights & The City Sights
You know me: I'm all about exploring! Whether it's the elegant Tuileries Garden, the magical Eiffel Tower sparkling against the night sky, or taking a boat trip on the Seine River and getting that postcard perfect view of Notre Dame Cathedral. Even finding hidden street art in the Marais, taking a stroll along the Seine with a bag of freshly baked croissants in my hand, or enjoying a perfect espresso in a charming little café… It's all magical! And don't forget the shopping, the incredible museums, and the exciting street performances!
Fashion is in the Air, My Dear!
For my first full day in Paris, I’m heading to the Jardin du Luxembourg – imagine! It's like stepping into a storybook, with its elegant flowers and perfectly sculpted topiary trees. It’s the perfect place to people watch and marvel at Parisian fashion! Later on, a stroll through Montmartre! It's bursting with colourful creativity – think adorable Parisian cafes and the quirky Montmartre Cemetery!

Paris is the perfect place to make your tutu dreams come true. Let your inner ballerina shine! The whole world is ready to embrace the pink tutu - even the most elegant Parisians. And if you need any inspiration on where to wear yours, just look around you. You never know, you might inspire someone to embrace their own inner ballerina!
