Well, hello darlings! It’s Saturday again, so you know what that means... a brand new blog post from your favourite pink tutu-wearing travel enthusiast, right here on www.pink-tutu.com!
This week, I’ve travelled all the way from my little corner of Derbyshire to the magical City of Lights: Paris! I love taking the EuroStar, the carriages are so spacious and stylish - perfect for a bit of pre-trip pampering and getting into the holiday spirit! Plus, I always feel a bit extra special wearing my pink tutu whilst onboard... 😉
I’ve packed my suitcase full of my absolute favourite outfits, so there’s no way I’m missing out on any photo opportunities in the most beautiful city in the world. And what could be better for exploring Paris than my signature pink tutu? Just picture it, me twirling my way around the Eiffel Tower, past the Louvre and Notre Dame!
Speaking of tutus, did you know that Saturday is National Dance Day? That's no coincidence, my lovelies. You know your girl always gets into the spirit of the day, and what better way to celebrate than to catch a show at the prestigious Paris Opera House? The programme is filled with classics and new talent, so I'll be posting lots of photos and a review next week, of course. After all, what’s a Parisian trip without seeing a stunning ballet performance?
The pink-tinted beauty of Paris.Today has been a day of delightful Parisian discoveries! I began the day at the Musée Rodin, captivated by the delicate sculptures and beautiful gardens, before heading towards the iconic Champs-Élysées. It’s the most glamorous shopping street in Paris, so needless to say, I indulged in a bit of retail therapy - my tutu is still recovering from all the fab finds!
The highlight of the day was the enchanting Tuileries Gardens. Just picture this, golden sunshine warming my face, soft breeze whispering through the leaves, and a magnificent view of the Louvre… it’s a scene straight out of a fairytale, especially when you add the perfect touch of pink – ahem, my tutu, of course!
Fashion, food, and fairytale fun.Tonight, we're enjoying a magical Parisian dinner! Nothing beats the ambience of an al fresco dining experience on a warm summer evening. Of course, I had to indulge in a slice of the famous French pastry, a perfect sweet end to the day. (Don’t worry, I’ll share a photo later!)
As the sun sets over Paris, I'm feeling grateful for the beauty of travel and the incredible memories this pink tutu is collecting. Every day feels like an adventure, and there’s something about this city that fills my heart with joy and excitement.
