Oh la la! The Eiffel Tower sparkles like a million twinkling stars against the midnight blue sky, the air is buzzing with the romance of Paris, and I’m practically pirouetting with excitement – I'm back in Paris!

This magical city always feels like a second home to me, and after a rather busy week performing at the Derbyshire Arts Festival (and wearing my Pink Tutu for a particularly energetic finale!), I couldn’t wait to board the EuroStar for another Parisian adventure. This trip, though, is a little bit different - it’s all about culture. Yes, my darlings, it’s about the shows, the sights, and the fashion! And you can be certain I’m going to pack in as much pink as I possibly can – Paris is ready for a dose of Pink Tutu!

Speaking of which, you simply cannot visit Paris without a trip to the iconic Opéra Garnier – oh, the drama! It's not just the building itself, a masterpiece of gilded arches and plush red velvet, it’s the atmosphere! From the moment you enter, it's as though you've stepped back in time to a bygone era of exquisite elegance and thrilling performance.

This weekend, I'm lucky enough to catch Romeo et Juliette – such a classic. You simply cannot help but be swept away by the romance and tragedy of their story, beautifully told through graceful movements, the delicate sweep of tulle tutus, and the soaring notes of the orchestra. As the curtain falls on the final act, you feel as if you've witnessed a story for the ages.

My Top Pink-tastic Tip: Remember to check out the schedule for the opera and ballet shows beforehand – they always offer a variety of exciting performances to suit all tastes. You might even get to see some fabulous Pink Tutu action onstage!

The magic of Paris extends beyond the stage, my lovelies. As I stroll along the charming, cobbled streets, I feel my creativity sparked by every shop window. This weekend, it’s all about the boutiques for me. I've heard whispers of an incredible vintage clothing shop tucked away in the Marais, a haven of elegant gowns and playful hats just begging to be given a second life.

I simply must add a few more statement pieces to my collection, because who wouldn’t want to twirl around the city in a chic Parisian number? And you just know I’ll find the perfect accessory – a flamboyant pink scarf, perhaps? A sparkling pair of ballet flats that make every step feel like a pirouette? The possibilities are truly endless!

Paris wouldn’t be Paris without a scenic train journey or two. Luckily, I have the perfect excuse - a ballet festival at the Palace of Versailles! Versailles, for those of you who are uninitiated, is just beyond Paris. The Palace itself, a grand testament to French opulence, is gorgeous (I’m talking Versailles-style grand! That's how grand it is!) and surrounded by gardens fit for a fairytale – picture vast lawns, blooming flowers, and fountains that shimmer under the sunlight. I can’t wait to explore the history and beauty of this magical place.

The journey itself is an adventure. A whirlwind of romance and excitement, watching the French countryside rush by as the Eurostar whisks me toward the city of lights. I always manage to squeeze a couple of performances in on my journey to keep those legs warmed up – but you can't perform on the train, oh no! That’s a ballet faux pas. But, do a few graceful stretches and you’ll fit right in with all the elegant Parisians.

My Travel Tip: Don't be shy, chat with your fellow passengers! Especially if they look slightly surprised by your Pink Tutu and travelling outfit. They might even offer you a croissant! And you can tell them all about Pink Tutu! (Just keep your twirls inside the train carriages… or not.)

Paris has a special place in my heart. It's a place where fashion and artistry come together to create an unforgettable experience, and as my week unfolds, I plan to embrace every moment, from catching the latest ballet show at the Opéra Garnier to discovering hidden treasures in the charming boutiques. But my real mission this time? To inspire a little Pink Tutu magic in this city of love and romance.

Perhaps a flash of pink here, a swish of tulle there… We can create a Parisian dream where every ballerina (and, indeed, every person!) feels empowered and confident in their own personal style!
