#PinkTutuBlogParis - Post 1315: Ooh la la, Paris!

Bonjour, my lovely tutu-tastic friends! It’s Emma here, your favourite pink-obsessed ballerina, writing to you live from the most romantic city in the world
Paris! Yes, the City of Lights has captured my heart, and as always, I'm wearing my lucky pink tutu, because even a Parisian adventure is best experienced twirling.

This trip has been a dream come true. I’ve just stepped off the EuroStar – such a magical way to travel, and who needs planes when you can ride through the countryside in comfort and style? I think it even added a touch of vintage glamour to the occasion, wouldn't you say?

Now, before we get to the Parisian delights I've been indulging in, let's rewind the clock a little. My journey to Paris began with a phenomenal performance at the Derby Theatre. Yes, folks, this ballerina brought the house down in a heart-stopping routine – I even managed a quadruple pirouette, which just goes to show practice really does make perfect! All those hours in the studio paid off, and the generous applause and donations really helped to fund this trip. It just goes to show, dreaming big and pursuing your passions is possible!

But let’s talk about Paris, my dear readers. Oh, the allure, the magic, the history! This trip, as usual, involves plenty of dancing – from ballet classes at the famous École de Danse to attending captivating performances at the Opera Garnier. It truly is a city that celebrates artistry, a city that inspires.

Saturday 8th March – Paris, Je t'aime!

My very first stop in the city of romance had to be the iconic Eiffel Tower. Standing beneath its graceful silhouette, it felt like a fairytale moment. I swear I could hear the twinkly sound of harps playing in the background! And speaking of fairy tales, no trip to Paris is complete without a visit to the magnificent Palace of Versailles. This weekend, the gardens will be awash with colour with a springtime display, and I can’t wait to capture it all in photos. Imagine a pink tutu amidst those royal flowerbeds!

This weekend is also buzzing with the “International Women’s Day” celebrations. There will be so much going on around the city – I'm planning on catching an exhibition of female artists at the MusĂ©e d'Orsay, plus I hear there are some wonderful street performances planned. Maybe even a tutu-tastic flash mob! Wouldn’t that be fabulous?

Naturally, no Paris trip would be complete without a spot of shopping. This time, I’ve set my sights on some stunning vintage clothing for a photoshoot on the Pont Neuf. And I might be indulging in some classic Parisian bakery treats. Maybe a decadent Ă©clair for a midday pick-me-up? Oh, la la!

Paris always ignites my inner fashionista. My latest obsession is a chic Parisian hat with a soft pink ribbon, the perfect touch of femininity. Plus, I’ve just snagged a pair of classic red ballet pumps - I can just imagine myself gliding around Paris in those!

Later this evening, we have tickets to see "Romeo and Juliet" performed at the Théùtre de Chùtelet, one of Paris' most renowned theaters. You can bet I'll be twirling all the way to my seat!

So, that's my plan for this magical weekend in Paris, darling. I promise you, it's going to be jam-packed with laughter, pink tulle, and endless possibilities for fashion inspiration!

Follow my journey this weekend as I document my Parisian adventures with more posts throughout the week. Remember to follow me on my Instagram page - @pinktutuemma - where I will be sharing snippets of all my Parisian fun, from the Eiffel Tower to the chic Parisian cafes.

And don't forget to share your love of tutus, fashion, and everything pink. The more, the merrier, right? I’d love to hear all about your favourite tutu-related fashion finds or your dream destinations – maybe you can inspire me with my next pink-tastic adventure!

Au revoir for now, and stay beautiful!
