Pink Tutu Paris: Post #1448 - Bonjour from the City of Lights!

Oh là là! It's Emma, your favourite pink tutu-clad blogger, writing to you live from the enchanting city of Paris! I’ve just arrived after a blissful train journey on the Eurostar, feeling absolutely giddy with the Parisian spirit bubbling inside me. Today's the 25th September 2027, and the city is bathed in a soft, golden light – it’s a perfect autumn day.

I'm wearing, of course, my favourite hot pink tutu - the one with the iridescent sequins! It perfectly complements the stunning Parisian architecture, the cobblestones, and the general "je ne sais quoi" that makes this city so incredibly special. My tutu and I, we are ready for adventures!

This week’s Paris blog is all about the wonderful experiences I’m about to share with you! I've already spied a darling little café across the street, just brimming with pink flower boxes and tempting pastries – just the spot for a proper Parisian breakfast. My Instagram followers, you'll be the first to know when I find a perfect cuppa and a croissant!

Before I go, I wanted to talk a little bit about what inspires me to do these weekly posts for all of you lovely folk back home in Derbyshire and across the world. For me, it’s about bringing a little bit of joy and a whole lot of colour into your lives. I believe everyone deserves to wear a pink tutu! They're playful, magical, and empower us to dance through life with joy and freedom – something Paris itself does so well!

I’ve got my itinerary packed with ballet performances (a must for this pink tutu enthusiast), glamorous Parisian boutiques for some retail therapy, and, of course, an afternoon of enchanting street performances – those ballets you can just wander into on a whim!

And speaking of ballets, tonight is a real treat. The iconic Opéra Garnier is hosting a performance of 'La Bayadère'! Just thinking about those incredible costumes and the breathtaking choreography is giving me butterflies! Can you believe it? My darling pink tutu and I are about to experience the majesty of classical ballet in one of the world's most iconic theatres. Talk about living the dream!

Oh, and before I go – I've been working tirelessly (in my trusty pink tutu, naturally!) to bring you the best possible travel tips and insider Parisian knowledge. You know how much I love finding those little hidden gems that make your journey truly special. Stay tuned to the website throughout the week for blog updates on all the exciting things happening here.

My journey isn't just about glamorous sightseeing and tutus – it's about capturing those precious little moments that make Paris so irresistible, those moments that make a travel experience unforgettable. It’s about sharing my love of the art of ballet, my love of Paris, and my love of colour with all of you. After all, life is for twirling in your pink tutu!

A bientôt, my dearest readers!

Bisous from Paris,

My Paris Fashion Favourites!

What’s a pink tutu blogger in Paris without a fabulous wardrobe? * A little black dress that looks chic and stylish – perfect for an evening in Paris. * Some ballet-inspired flats! Parisian cobblestones don’t really work for high heels, so ballet flats are a must. They add a delicate elegance to any look! * Of course, my darling hot pink tutu! It's my go-to outfit for a Parisian adventure, and it brightens every single moment. * A chic beret! What’s more Parisian than a beret?! * A lovely cardigan – Parisian mornings can be a little chilly.

The Fashion & Style Inspiration

Parisian fashion is timeless, elegant and refined. It's a look I’ve always admired. They love the Parisian designers like Chanel and Yves Saint Laurent, of course! I also love finding vintage clothes in the local shops – there are so many gorgeous dresses and little details to look at. I love how Parisians mix classic looks with the latest trends!

The inspiration doesn't just come from the boutiques! There’s such incredible street style, from stylish older women to youthful Parisians. I’m absolutely going to draw on that street style for some outfits for Pink Tutu followers!

And don’t even get me started on ballet! The costuming, the movement, it's just such a magnificent explosion of artistry and design – another wonderful inspiration for a new blog post!
