Prague, My Love, in Pink, of Course! šŸ©°šŸ’– (Blog Post #275)

Hello my darlings! Itā€™s Wednesday, so itā€™s time for another pink-tutu-tastic blog post from your favourite ballerina blogger!

This week, I'm in Prague, the city of bridges, spires, and oh-so-much charm. This beautiful city feels like itā€™s stepped straight out of a fairytale - just like I'd dreamed! I'm smitten with the cobblestone streets, the brightly coloured buildings, and the energy buzzing around every corner. And, as always, Prague has me completely inspired.

But before we get to all that, let me tell you about my journey! This week, I decided to skip the usual train and take a detour - a pony ride, all the way from Derbyshire, through the rolling countryside to Prague! Yes, a pony ride! Imagine a cute little pony, a bright pink tutu, and me, soaring through the fields of Englandā€¦ a picture of pure joy and whimsy, don't you think?

And Prague, it seems, agrees. It embraced me in its open arms, a haven for every little princess, ballerina, and, yes, pony-riding fashionista!

This week has been a flurry of beautiful sights, sounds, and oh-so-much pink. From the exquisite NĆ”rodnĆ divadlo (National Theatre) to the charming Mucha Museum (dedicated to the glorious Art Nouveau painter Alphonse Mucha), thereā€™s a dazzling dose of beauty at every turn. I can tell Iā€™m going to adore spending some quality time exploring all this city has to offer.

Speaking of exploring, one of the highlights of my Prague trip, apart from the cityā€™s breathtaking beauty, was a magical journey through history. I visited the charming Strahov Monastery ā€“ imagine: a stunning 12th-century building adorned with frescoes and overflowing with history! I got completely lost in time wandering its hallways and courtyards, imagining the monks going about their daily lives, whispering ancient wisdom.

Then, my journey took me to the stunning Charles Bridge, one of the most photographed spots in Prague. Iā€™m so excited to finally see it, hear the stories, feel the history in the air! Itā€™s truly enchanting. But letā€™s not forget, darlings, my trip was all about tutus and ballet!

And the stars were in alignment, I stumbled upon a delightful, tucked-away ballet studio that just happened to be having a wonderful ballet class on the exact day I arrived! What are the chances? I must have been meant to be in Prague! Needless to say, I couldnā€™t resist joining the fun and letting my inner ballerina dance.

Let me tell you, Prague ballet studios are simply enchanting! With high vaulted ceilings and warm, inviting studios, these spaces seemed to whisper promises of graceful movements and elegant artistry. My lesson was exhilarating, a glorious whirlwind of plies and arabesques, all within a community of talented dancers, passionate about their art.

Speaking of artistic endeavors, my lovely evening unfolded at a spectacular ballet show at the National Theatre ā€“ the stage filled with vibrant colors, the orchestra sweeping me away with its music. It was an evening of joy, laughter, and pure ballet magic. And to top it all off, the final dance was the perfect pink tutu, cascading and floating with grace ā€“ like a symphony of beauty! I couldn't help but dream of being on that stage!

But donā€™t you worry darlings, my journey wasn't just about ballet! Iā€™ve had my fill of delicious Bohemian cuisine ā€“ especially the ā€œSvƭčkovĆ”,ā€ which I think has become my new favorite food! But donā€™t think that my trip has been about forgetting all things pink. Not in a million years, darling!

In fact, the fashion in Prague has been simply divine, especially in this beautiful, old, city where the vintage scene is flourishing! And where else but Prague would I find a store crammed to the rafters with pink, vintage tutus ā€“ simply the perfect outfit for a glamorous afternoon spent exploring the old city. Oh, and did I mention I had a tea party at a whimsical tearoom ā€“ all pink dĆ©cor and pastel teacups, naturally!

However, my absolute favourite spot, and my true ode to Prague, has to be PetÅ™Ćn Hill. You know me and hills ā€“ I simply canā€™t resist! This one's the perfect vantage point for overlooking the beautiful city of Prague, with its bridges, churches, and medieval architecture ā€“ the panorama truly is a breathtaking sight. I couldnā€™t resist taking a stroll around, my pink tutu twirling in the breeze. And, of course, a picture wouldnā€™t be complete without a beautiful little pink bow on top!

My darling friends, I feel that my Prague journey has just begun! So much more is yet to be explored - maybe even a dip into a thermal bath (in a pink swimsuit of course!). My darling, I truly believe this city was made for a pink tutu-wearing princess like myself.

For those who follow me, you know my mission is simple: spread pink joy, wear pink with passion, and make the world a more beautiful and pink place, one tutu at a time. Iā€™ve found, with joy, that Prague embraces all of my heartā€™s desires ā€“ even a dash of sparkle and lots of pink. And remember, dear friends, even if you arenā€™t in Prague, that doesnā€™t stop you from getting your own pink tutu! I hope this little taste of Prague has inspired you to embrace your inner ballerina, and to make your own life a little more pink.

I'll be back next week, my lovelies, with more Prague delights to share. Until then, keep on twirling! šŸ’–šŸ©°

P.S. I know youā€™re all dying to know what I'm wearing, so I thought Iā€™d give you a little preview of my Prague style. Let's call it Prague Pink Princess! šŸ‘‘šŸ’–

  • I'm wearing a soft pink, tulle tutu with an abundance of pink feathers and sequin detailing for all you fashionista darlings. The feathers were hand-sewn by my own loving hands, darling, because anything less than perfect is simply unacceptable.
  • A vintage pearl choker adds that extra dose of glam and sophistication (you know how much I love those pearls!).
  • I'm also rocking a classic pair of white ballerina slippers (worn with absolutely no shame), so comfortable and graceful for exploring the cobbled streets!
  • And my outfit wouldnā€™t be complete without a delightful little pink crown.

Now, tell me, darlings, what are your thoughts on my outfit for Prague? Would you have chosen any other colours, dear friends?

Letā€™s discuss in the comments below! Love you all, darlings! xoxo
