Pink Tutu Prague - Post #971: Dancing through the cobbled streets of Prague 🩰💖🇨🇿

Hello darlings! It's Emma, your favourite pink-tutu-clad travel enthusiast, back from the magical city of Prague! This week's post is extra special as it's all about ballet, fashion, and the incredible charm of Prague – the perfect combination for a week filled with pink, sparkles, and plenty of twirls!

Prague – A City of History & Ballerinas

I arrived in Prague by train, a mode of transport I simply adore! There's something so romantic about the gentle rocking motion and the passing scenery. Stepping off the train, the city's iconic sights unfolded before me – the majestic Prague Castle, the Charles Bridge adorned with whimsical sculptures, and the cobblestone streets leading me through enchanting squares and bustling markets. This city is a storybook come to life, steeped in history and echoing with the echoes of emperors, artists, and...yes, even ballerinas!

My Pink Tutu Adventures

Let's get to the part you all love - the fashion! My Prague wardrobe was an absolute symphony of pink and twirling delight. Picture a perfectly pink, frothy tulle tutu paired with a chic, cinched-in black blouse – utterly charming and oh-so-feminine! Of course, no outfit is complete without my signature pink ballet flats, sparkling just like the city lights at night.

I made a beeline for the Old Town Square, its astronomical clock captivating my attention with its complex gears and whimsical figurines. I twirled, capturing the beauty of the square against the backdrop of the towering Tyn Church, and of course, I shared the photos with all my dear readers on Instagram - #PinkTutuPrague was trending!

Ballet in the Heart of Europe

No visit to Prague would be complete without a night at the National Theatre. This architectural marvel housed the exquisite production of "Swan Lake", the most enchanting and romantic ballet story ever told. The dancers were so graceful and skilled, transporting me to a world of elegance and breathtaking beauty. Each move, each pirouette, felt so incredibly real, so filled with emotion – a true testament to the artistry of ballet.

Speaking of emotion, watching the final act, with the iconic swan’s lament, tears of pure joy flowed down my face. I know, I know, I'm such a romantic!

Prague – A Treasure Trove for Fashionistas

The next day, I immersed myself in Prague's bustling markets. I discovered a beautiful, vintage pink scarf – the perfect touch of colour to complement my evening gowns. It reminded me of the graceful movements of a dancer, its flowing lines echoing the sway of a ballerina’s dress. Later, I found a delicate pair of crystal earrings that caught the light like diamonds, and you can bet they will be making their debut at my next performance.

Prague in My Heart – and My Tutu

Leaving Prague was bittersweet, but I took a little bit of this beautiful city with me – a beautiful pink porcelain ballerina ornament and a heart full of happy memories. Prague, with its historic charm and artistic energy, perfectly mirrored the magic of ballet, making it an unforgettable trip for this pink tutu-loving ballerina!

Until next week, darling readers! Keep dancing your hearts out!

Post Scriptum

On the day of this post, 4th December 2013, the beautiful city of Prague was covered in a thin blanket of snow. The festive mood was in the air with Christmas markets twinkling with lights, offering warm cinnamon-scented punch and delicious gingerbread cookies. The city looked absolutely magical. This day I decided to indulge in a sweet treat - the world-famous trdelník, a delicious pastry sprinkled with cinnamon and sugar, served warm. What a perfect way to end my day of adventures in Prague!

I hope this post inspired you! Until next week, twirl on! 💖🩰
