Pink Tutu Prague: Post #1006 - Ballerina Bliss and a City that Twirls!

Hello, darlings! It’s Wednesday, which means it's time for another dose of Pink Tutu Prague! This week, I'm absolutely bursting with excitement because my diary is packed with delightful ballet adventures. As you know, I'm here in Prague, and this stunning city has stolen my heart (and my wardrobe) with its vibrant mix of history, beauty, and, of course, the captivating world of ballet.

A Pink Tutu in Prague: Where to Begin?!

Now, let's delve into the whirlwind that's been this week's Pink Tutu adventure!

Monday: A Ballet Odyssey at the National Theatre

The week kicked off with a divine experience at the National Theatre. This iconic building is simply breathtaking! The grand architecture, the stunning interiors – it's a veritable feast for the eyes. But what truly enchanted me was the evening's performance of "Giselle", a classic that always takes my breath away. The ballet was truly spectacular, and I can't stop replaying those beautiful pirouettes in my mind!

After the performance, I made my way to Cafe Slavia, which has been a Bohemian literary hotspot since the late 19th century. Sipping a decadent coffee and admiring the charming interior, I felt like I was stepping back in time. Prague is just brimming with this magical blend of old-world charm and modern flair.

Tuesday: Ballet Boutique Bonanza

Tuesday was a day for indulgence! After all, a ballet enthusiast needs the right accessories for every performance and travel adventure. So, off I went to The Fashion Box - a haven for balletwear and elegant attire in the heart of the city. They have an incredible selection of tutus in all shapes and colours, even a stunning baby pink tulle skirt that caught my eye (and landed in my shopping bag, naturally!). I found myself a magnificent velvet beret that simply screamed "Prague" with its delicate detailing and chic colour. Oh, and don't even get me started on the shoes! It's fair to say my ballet-loving heart skipped a beat.

Wednesday: Pink Tutu Prague - A Little Parisian Inspiration

Today's all about getting in touch with the creative spark that keeps this Pink Tutu heart beating! After all, a good ballet class is the perfect antidote to any travel woes, so I found a charming little studio tucked away in the Old Town district. I couldn't help but feel inspired by the chic elegance of the instructor, she radiated Parisian grace! She made every move feel effortless, even the toughest plies! It was such a wonderful, uplifting class, leaving me feeling graceful and invigorated.

Thursday: Ballet Bliss in the Heart of the City

This week’s itinerary took me to the charming Old Town Square. It’s so charming! It’s a treasure trove of history, surrounded by vibrant shops, street musicians, and breathtaking architecture. This evening I am going to watch some street dancers perform! You know how much I love to see performers embracing street spaces and sharing their art with everyone.

Friday: Pony Power

One of my favourite things about Prague is its unique public transport system – and it’s not all about trams and metro, darling! You can find yourself on horseback at one of the many pony rides through the Old Town. There’s something incredibly magical about riding through cobblestone streets on a pony, and it just adds to the city's whimsical charm. Just imagine: Pink Tutu me, gliding through the city on a gentle pony, feeling like I’m in a fairytale.

Saturday: A Parisian Pastry Paradise

This weekend is going to be all about exploring the local culinary scene, but not before grabbing a slice of exquisite pastry! Moulin Chocolat is a little slice of Parisian indulgence, right in the heart of Prague. With the aroma of fresh chocolate filling the air, I am treated to delicate cakes and delicious pastries that just melt in my mouth.

Sunday: The Final Curtain Calls of Prague

Sunday's all about soaking up the final moments of Prague magic before my journey back home to Derbyshire. And how do you say goodbye to a city that captured your heart? Why, with another visit to the charming Cafe Slavia for one last cup of coffee and a delightful piece of cheesecake, of course. There’s no place I’d rather be, feeling utterly inspired by Prague’s beauty and the graceful magic of ballet.

Pink Tutu Prague – A Celebration of Ballet and Fashion

And that's it, darling! Prague has definitely won a piece of my heart, it's an enchanting city bursting with beautiful architecture, delectable treats, and of course, the captivating beauty of ballet. I am leaving here feeling so full of creative energy, with an even deeper appreciation for this art form, a heart full of fashion inspiration, and, a little piece of Prague forever nestled in my Pink Tutu soul.

Until next week, keep twirling!
