Prague: Where Dreams and Tutus Dance! 🩰✨ (Post #1308)

Hey lovelies! 👋💖 It's Emma, your pink-tutu-clad travel buddy, and I'm practically skipping with joy because I'm finally in Prague! 🇨🇿 You know how I am, always searching for the next grand adventure, and this beautiful city is definitely a tutu-worthy destination!

This week, I thought I'd bring you along with me on my Prague adventures, because honestly, it's like a dream come true! We'll be chatting about all things beautiful – the architecture, the ballet performances, the delicious food, the endless shopping… Oh, and let's not forget about the absolutely adorable pink tutus I've found! 😉

But first, let's get a little bit more personal. My name's Emma, and I'm a 20-something ballerina from Derbyshire, England. I live and breathe all things pink and tutu – from collecting vintage ballet shoes to creating my own custom tutus (pink, naturally!), my life revolves around dancing and fashion. My passion for the arts, my love of travel, and, of course, my incredible pink tutus have allowed me to turn my dreams into reality. I'm on a mission to inspire you all to embrace your inner ballerina and find the joy in life's little, twirly moments!

And speaking of twirling moments, let me tell you, Prague is an absolute paradise! It’s got everything you need for a picture-perfect ballet adventure:

A City That Takes Your Breath Away: The minute you step off the train – and yes, I travelled here by train! – you're greeted by fairytale architecture, cobblestone streets, and vibrant colours that practically sing with history and magic. It's no wonder this city is considered one of the most beautiful in the world!

Ballet with a Bite of History: Of course, I couldn’t visit Prague without indulging in some top-notch ballet. Today I'm heading to the National Theatre! It's like a stunning piece of art itself! The National Theatre dates back to the 1800s and holds such a grand history. I've already seen the most incredible performance – it was pure enchantment!

My Love for Vintage Treasures: Speaking of beautiful and grand, I just HAD to pop into this gorgeous antique shop. I spotted a vintage, silk-tutu dress from the 1920s tucked away on a rack, hidden amidst some antique porcelain dolls. And naturally, it was pink! It’s all yours now, Pink Tutu blog fam – my newest favourite for some very special evenings in Prague!

The Heart of Old Town: Old Town Square was a highlight! It's where the iconic Astronomical Clock is, and I must admit, I found myself spellbound! The intricate detail and craftsmanship of it are astonishing. Imagine all those talented artisans coming together to create such a breathtaking piece!

A Culinary Delights: Okay, so the food! Prague is a food lover's dream! From the rich, cheesy goulash to the delectable traditional Czech sweets (that I absolutely MUST try), I can tell I'm going to indulge my sweet tooth! Oh, and I can't forget the endless options of pastry shops. Just saying, I'm ready to be a complete foodie!

More than just a pretty city: While we're on the subject of foodie heaven, Prague's culinary scene is more than just about sweets. This vibrant city is a place where tradition meets contemporary creativity. It's fascinating to see how food culture evolves with the changing times, yet maintains a connection to its heritage.

Shopping Spree: What would a Prague adventure be without some serious retail therapy? Of course, I’m searching for the most exquisite tutu-worthy finds. I even found a darling little boutique filled with pastel-coloured ballet flats and the most intricate, embroidered vintage tutus. Naturally, I snagged a few pink ones!

And of course… More Tutu Talk: No trip is complete without a little Tutu talk! So I took some time today to chat with some local ballet dancers about their passions. One thing they all mentioned was the beauty and freedom of ballet! And of course, their favourite colour? (You guessed it!) Pink.

Looking Ahead: But now, the fun's just beginning. Stay tuned next Wednesday because my adventure's not ending here! There’s still so much to explore, like visiting Prague Castle, discovering hidden street art gems, and finding even more perfect pink tutus! Until next time, remember:

“It’s never too late to be a ballerina, or to wear a pink tutu!” 💕🩰

See you next week! Emma xoxo www.pink-tutu.com
