Hello, darlings! It's Emma, your favourite pink tutu-clad travel blogger, back from a whirlwind week in the enchanting city of Prague! This week's post is dedicated to all things ballet, beautiful Prague, and the pinkest tutu finds I could possibly unearth in this gorgeous city! As always, I'm absolutely bursting with excitement to share my adventures with you lovely lot!
It's Wednesday, so that means it's Pink Tutu Prague time! As always, I'm whisked away to Prague with a ballet performance under my tutu to help fund my travels! 💅 This week, it was a gorgeous rendition of "Giselle," in which I played a cheeky woodland nymph! We even managed to squeeze in a little bit of a “Pink Tutu” flash mob to raise a few smiles, and donations of course! 😉 It was an absolute dream, I must say, even the train journey through the breathtaking countryside had a bit of fairytale magic!
Prague truly is a city of enchanting beauty, bursting with history and artistic brilliance! The cobblestone streets feel like they belong in a ballet set and the ancient architecture feels as graceful as a dancer's pirouette. I absolutely fell in love with Prague! From the stunning architecture of Prague Castle, to the charming Charles Bridge, the city is like a living masterpiece!
As you can imagine, I wasn't able to resist the allure of dancing on the iconic Charles Bridge! Imagine, dancing amidst the stone arches, surrounded by the gentle whispers of the Vltava river! I twirled and pirouetted, with my pink tutu fluttering like a butterfly, as the sun dipped below the horizon, painting the sky in a beautiful wash of colours! It was absolute perfection! 💕
Of course, my ballet journey took me beyond the iconic landmarks. Prague, darling, has an amazing ballet scene, with beautiful theaters, gorgeous shows, and breathtaking ballets that just blow your mind! It’s just fantastic.
My favourite part of this entire Prague escapade? I stumbled upon a gorgeous vintage tutu shop. Tucked away on a hidden side street, it was a pink-tutu haven, with rows of feather boas, antique tutus and some absolute stunners just crying out to be twirled. I walked out with not one, not two, but three tutus – two sparkly beauties, and one soft, romantic tulle creation that reminded me of my days as a tiny ballerina! The shopkeeper, an absolute sweetheart, gifted me a beautiful embroidered tulle scarf, and let's be honest - I felt absolutely triumphant! 😉
Tutu time, anyone?! My fashion heart has always beat a little faster for tutus! They embody such whimsical elegance and feminine beauty! As an added bonus, the twirls in these beauties are practically unstoppable! Who could resist? 💫
If there’s anything I love as much as tutus and Prague, it's indulging in a little fashion spree! After my amazing tutu haul, it was off to the charming boutiques of the Old Town! They were a delight, showcasing everything from Bohemian chic to Prague's signature art-deco designs. I felt like I was in a fairy-tale movie! The shops were filled with dreamy pastel hues, delicate lace details and statement jewellery - my inner princess was screaming with glee!
I picked up some gorgeous bohemian jewellery - sparkling beads and crystal designs! A must have, and so versatile, I can wear them with everything, and, obviously, they make a brilliant finishing touch to my ballet outfits. You can never have enough sparkle!✨
But of course, my journey wasn’t all about ballet, vintage tutus and sparkling accessories. One of the most memorable moments was my pony ride around Prague Castle. The horse was absolutely gorgeous, so docile and beautiful. It was pure magic! And I wasn't wearing a pink tutu this time! (Gasp!). Instead, I wore a flowy, bohemian skirt, a silk top, and my best smile – ready for the camera and those dreamy photo shoots that you just have to share with everyone! 💖
As my Prague adventure draws to a close, my heart swells with the beautiful memories I've made in this magnificent city. I've danced across cobbled streets, felt the enchantment of a fairy tale come alive, and twirled my way through vintage tutu shops and chic fashion havens! Prague is a city that truly captured my heart. 💕
I'll be back in Prague, I've already booked my next trip! The ballet shows here, they just leave me speechless! I have a feeling I'm going to find some even more spectacular tutus next time I'm there. And trust me darlings, I will absolutely share my Prague ballet adventures with you!
