After weeks of intense rehearsals for my upcoming Swan Lake performance at the Derbyshire Theatre Royal (fingers crossed, my lovely tutu fits perfectly!), I was aching for a change of scenery. The cobblestone streets of Prague beckoned, and who was I to resist? My trusty pink suitcase was packed, and a little while later, I was chugging across the countryside, waving goodbye to Derbyshire fields and hello to a thrilling new adventure.
My heart fluttered with anticipation. What fashion treasures awaited me in this charming city? What ballets could I see? Would there be any chic Parisian-inspired boutiques? My excitement reached a feverish pitch, especially after the train conductor complimented me on my fabulous, frilly, pink tulle, layered with lace-edged silk ribbon for maximum sparkle!

Prague, oh Prague, you were more magical than I could have imagined! Imagine winding streets bursting with vibrant blooms, cafes overflowing with laughter and the scent of freshly-baked pastries, and impossibly stunning architecture. Every corner held a new delight - pastel-coloured buildings, glittering statues, and bridges draped in cascading roses. I even saw a cute little donkey cart (a bit like a horse and carriage, but more charming) in the Old Town Square, driven by a man in a dapper, vintage suit! Truly, it was like stepping into a fairytale!
