Hello, my gorgeous lovelies! ?✨ It's Wednesday again, which means it's time for another peek into the sparkly world of Pink Tutu Prague! I've been hopping around this enchanting city, taking in all the sights and soaking up the atmosphere, and let me tell you, it's utterly dreamy! I'm wearing a fabulously pink tutu, naturally, and my hair is adorned with a crown of delicate pink roses. I've even added a touch of sparkle with a smattering of glittery pink eyeshadow – after all, a ballerina always needs a little extra glamour, don't you think? ?
As you know, Prague is bursting with cultural treasures, and the heart of it all is its stunning ballet scene! I've been seeing so many incredible performances that I've hardly had time to try those amazing Czech dumplings (although I did sneak a few – they were divine!). Today, I'm particularly excited to share my experiences with you, darlings, as this city has become a haven for pink-tutu clad princesses!
Ballet Magic: Dancing Through the Ages
I recently fell in love with a tiny shop near the Charles Bridge – what a wonderful surprise! Imagine, a shop filled with exquisite vintage tutus, perfect for a true ballet enthusiast like myself! Imagine a ballerina from the 1800s dancing across a stage – those delicate, frilly tutus with layers of tulle. This place, called 'Threads of Grace', is filled with vintage beauties! A treasure trove for any discerning ballerina! You could almost imagine the stories these tutus could tell if only they could speak!
I ended up buying a gorgeous tulle number, in – you guessed it – pink, of course. This one even had the cutest tiny sparkly details scattered through the fabric! Perfect for a twirl or two in the gorgeous Prague squares. ?
The Enchanted World of Ballet Street
Yesterday, I had a delightful discovery! Did you know that Prague is home to something called 'Ballet Street'? Yes, my darlings, this is a little haven for dancers, with studios bursting with energetic ballet classes for all ages!
I popped in for a quick beginner's class – imagine, tutus and ballet slippers on the cobbled streets! I absolutely loved the feeling of learning alongside other lovely souls. The instructor was amazing – a lovely young woman with the most charming smile, who taught us a beautiful sequence from the iconic "Swan Lake." She was absolutely amazing and had such patience with the clumsy beginner (me!).
The whole experience felt like stepping into a ballet-themed wonderland. It reminded me of the magical, mystical worlds I find myself lost in when I read ballet history books - the incredible story of how the first tutus came to be!
A Ballet Dream Come True: The Pink Tutu Prague Ballet
Of course, no trip to Prague is complete without experiencing the renowned "Pink Tutu Prague Ballet," performing at the beautiful National Theatre. Their performance this July 1st was truly phenomenal – the beautiful costumes and dramatic set design made me want to dance with them! The artistry and energy were dazzling, captivating the entire audience. And yes, I was wearing my newest vintage tutu for the occasion! ?✨
After the show, we were invited backstage – imagine my delight! I couldn’t help but ask about the tutus in the production – apparently, they were meticulously handmade! You won't believe this, but they are crafted from vintage, hand-painted silk! That's the magic of Prague – true artisanship and incredible beauty are everywhere!

Exploring the City by Pony and Train
But enough about shopping! While Prague is a magical city, I believe exploring its charms in a truly unique way is a must. So, I went on a very unusual adventure: I decided to explore Prague by… pony! You may be laughing now, but this is no ordinary pony. It's a miniature horse named Rosie who was just as delighted with the beautiful old city streets as I was! Imagine galloping through those cobblestone streets, the wind in my hair, while wearing my fabulous new vintage pink tutu.
On another adventure, I took a thrilling journey across the Czech Republic on a historical train called the "Emperor's Express". This classic vintage steam train, filled with intricate wooden carvings and velvety plush seating, was quite the romantic experience! It even stopped for a little pink-tutu ballet demonstration at each of the charming countryside stations. ? A fabulous adventure, to say the least!
Fashion Notes from Pink Tutu Prague
As for fashion in Prague, it's definitely my kind of style! It's chic, feminine and always includes a hint of quirky flair! I saw the most wonderful outfit: a vintage, pastel-pink floral dress paired with a quirky, handmade necklace of wooden pink flamingos – a delightful combination of elegance and fun! The city has this captivating mix of timeless sophistication and whimsical details – much like a delicate pink tutu!
