The Nutcracker: This classic masterpiece is always a crowd-pleaser, and this year’s Hanwell Town Hall production didn't disappoint. The snow-covered set, dazzling costumes, and intricate choreography were like stepping straight into a festive fairytale. Plus, the young dancers brought such a delightful energy to the stage, you couldn’t help but grin from ear to ear. They totally made Clara’s dreams come true!
Alice in Wonderland: At The Dance Academy, Hanwell, they really embraced the ‘whimsical’ aspect of Alice in Wonderland. The costumes were phenomenal – think crazy colours, fun fabrics, and even a little bit of neon sparkle! The choreography perfectly captured the feeling of falling down the rabbit hole, and you truly felt like you were going on a magical journey with Alice.
Cinderella: Okay, so Cinderella is always a personal fave, and The Dance Academy definitely did it justice. The elegant costumes were gorgeous, the slipper dance had me swaying in my seat (seriously, that sparkly slipper could have totally been mine!), and the whole performance just radiated hope and good vibes.
