And guess what? Chester, my favourite city in the UK, is a hidden gem when it comes to finding those special pieces.
Now, I know you might be thinking, "Chester? Isn’t that just a quaint, historic city? What could they possibly have for tutu shopping?". But trust me, darling! While it’s certainly got those beautiful Roman walls and medieval buildings, there's a vibrant and flourishing ballet scene in Chester too. And guess what that means? A treasure trove of tutu loveliness!

They have everything from those beautiful, professional quality tutus for performance, right down to simple and practical pieces perfect for lessons. This store is all about beautiful ballet fashion with a good helping of practical and professional too, perfect for any budget!

2. Miss Molly's Dance Emporium (aka "I’m-going-to-shop-till-I-drop heaven") Imagine a whole store bursting with stunning, luxurious tutus and beautiful dancewear – it's Miss Molly’s, and believe me, it is a total dream. Miss Molly’s is the place for you if you love a touch of glam. There's designer tutu-wear for any ballerina on your list, even those tiny tots who haven't even taken their first dance class yet! I dare you to resist a little sparkly something while you’re here.

3. Dancemania (A wonderland for any dance lover!) Forget your ballet preconceptions about shops in Chester - this is a huge store bursting with fun, funky fashion, and a big helping of excitement. Dancemania is so much more than your average ballet boutique, think tap shoes, jazz outfits, and every kind of dance accessory you can imagine, even the most obscure. If your little one is starting ballet but wants a break to try other genres too, then this store is perfect.
Top Tip: Make a day of it. This place is a dance-lovers heaven, grab a bite in the store cafe, spend the whole afternoon and let your inner dancer go wild!

1. The Blossoms Tearoom We're starting off our tea and cake break in a gorgeous vintage style tearoom, and it's definitely worth a special mention for its sheer cuteness factor! This hidden little gem, tucked away down a quiet side street, feels like stepping back in time and, of course, there is pink, and it’s pink that's as bright as those tutus you’ll be buying!
2. The Grosvenor Hotel You don’t just come here for a quick coffee. I’m talking an afternoon tea, and this place is made for feeling regal and indulgent. The Grosvenor Hotel is a perfect setting for some gorgeous spring outfits and tutu photos! Don’t forget the gorgeous cakes and, of course, you must have the teapot to finish the day in style.
