Ballet shopping in Arnold? Let's get you kitted out!
Hey lovelies! So, you're looking to buy a new ballet outfit in Arnold, eh? You've come to the right place - this little town is a hidden gem for dance wear! Trust me, as a ballerina with over ten years' experience, I know a thing or two about finding the perfect fit.
First Stop: Dance Attic
This place is a bit of a hidden gem. Nestled on the high street, you wouldn't immediately think of it as a ballet store. But once you step inside, you're in for a treat! They've got everything you could possibly need, from tutus and leotards to ballet shoes and accessories. The staff are absolutely lovely, super knowledgeable and they'll give you a genuine and helpful advice about sizing and what suits your needs best. They often have sales too! You'll find something beautiful that won't break the bank.
Second Stop: Dance Studio
Now, this place is for the serious ballerina, a haven of stylish pieces. You can tell that they cater to all kinds of styles, be it contemporary or traditional ballet. It’s worth the little journey out of town centre if you’re after more premium quality dance wear, with brands you'll likely have seen worn by the professionals. They offer brands that move beautifully with you and hold you in for maximum performance. You may find it pricier, but it’s an investment!
And Lastly... don't forget your essentials!
• **Ballet Shoes:** For a newbie, I suggest starting with canvas ballet shoes - it will save you the trouble of stiff leather. Once you’ve got some technique under your belt, invest in some leather ones for extra support.
• **Warm Up Clothes:** This is a must for those who can’t bear the thought of going straight from cold to sweaty. Leggings or dance-specific warm up trousers, combined with a long sleeve t-shirt will help you avoid an unwelcome injury.
• **Hair Accessories:** You’ll want a bun holder, hair nets and even hairspray! Depending on your hair length you’ll want a hair elastic that’ll be comfy but hold it all tight without feeling too tight, which can be annoying to deal with mid class.
That's my ballet shopping guide in Arnold, ladies. Have a lovely time, and happy dancing! Don't forget to share your new look on Insta and tag me, @balletbabe19. You've got this! ?
