Cleethorpes, Darling! #TutuBlog #174

Hello lovelies! It's your favourite tutu-clad blogger Emma, reporting live from Cleethorpes, where the festive cheer is as thick as the Yorkshire pudding gravy at Christmas dinner! (Which, let's face it, is REALLY thick!)

Today's tutu of choice? A wide, dreamy, swathes-of-pink creation, perfect for twirling amidst the Christmas markets and Ferris wheel. The colour? Pink, of course! What else would it be?! 😉

As you know, my love for pink is practically an obsession. My life is an endless spectrum of rose-tinted hues! It's in my wardrobe, my hair clips, my phone case - heck, even my little terrier, Coco, has a pink collar! (He pretends to be annoyed by it, but he loves the attention it brings him).

Pink Perfection on the East Coast

My journey here was an absolute treat. Forget boring trains, I opted for a truly delightful journey on a horse-drawn carriage, courtesy of the Cleethorpes Horse & Carriage Association. It's a perfect way to experience the seaside town in its true romantic charm. As we trotted past Victorian arcades, glistening gingerbread stalls, and twinkling fairy lights, I couldn't help but twirl and grin, feeling like a real-life fairytale princess.

Of course, I documented every minute with pictures - who could resist the idyllic scenery, especially when clad in such a fabulous tutu? And my followers absolutely loved it! I've already received so many requests for the horse carriage information, I might as well set up a booking service!

A Festive Ballet Fantasy

I've always dreamed of seeing a ballet performance at the Christmas time, and today I finally achieved it! Cleethorpes is known for its impressive Winter Gardens theatre, and they weren't holding back this year with their production of "The Nutcracker." It was utterly enchanting!

I loved seeing the delicate grace of the Sugar Plum Fairy, the elegant movements of the Mouse King, and the mischievous energy of the little mice! And the choreography was exquisite, taking me on a journey to a land of wonder, dreams, and sweets - who doesn't love a good ballet inspired by sweets?

I even spotted a fellow pink-tutu enthusiast in the audience! It’s great to see that my mission to get everyone twirling in pink is gaining momentum!

Dance Lessons by the Sea

No trip is complete without a little bit of ballet class, right? And the Cleethorpes Academy was just the place for it! It was absolutely charming, with a light and airy studio overlooking the vastness of the sea. What a wonderful way to start my day - moving my body, breathing the fresh salty air, and feeling so energized by the vastness of the ocean.

As we practiced our pirouettes and grand jetés, the sun was starting to set, casting the studio in a warm, golden glow. It was magical.

Cleethorpes, You Steal My Heart!

This little seaside town has absolutely stolen my heart! It's got everything I adore – pink, festive spirit, gorgeous architecture, stunning coastline, and even horses!

I truly believe Cleethorpes deserves more recognition. It's not just another seaside town, it's a real gem, full of character and charm!

So, what's next? Who knows! Maybe I'll find myself whisked away to a distant, exotic location… or perhaps, I’ll be found dancing my heart out at a local ballet school, sharing my passion with budding young dancers. The possibilities are endless!

In the meantime, don't forget to subscribe to my blog on www.pink-tutu.com for all your daily doses of pink and twirls! Until then, remember, "life is too short to wear beige!"

Love, Emma
