Hello my darlings!
How are you today? I’m having such a lovely morning and it’s not even noon! It’s funny how sometimes the best days just seem to appear, don’t they? The sun’s shining, I’m in a bright mood, and I just got the most gorgeous yellow tutu in the post, it’s so beautifully sparkly, I just can't wait to wear it! I know, I know, I should wear it today, but it's too hot! I need to take some fantastic photos in it, and to be honest, I’ve got a bit of a trip coming up, and I have the perfect place in mind to wear this fabulous little beauty. 😉
This is such a secret, I can’t tell you yet. But, I will tell you… it involves travel! And let me tell you, it’s definitely going to be grand. I mean, there’s nothing better than a trip by train, and maybe a little bit of horse riding, is there? I just love those wild animals, you wouldn’t believe how much we were following each other about on a trip last month! Well, that is until it started raining… I just thought you might like a little peak behind the curtain. It’s not quite a tutu secret but we’ll just keep it quiet, darling, right?
Dance!
Of course, no trip would be complete without my dance bag and ballet shoes! Oh, have you all had a chance to see that stunning show in town yet? Honestly, you just have to go, even if it’s just for a class, anything. Dance truly does have a special magic to it. Maybe you’ve never been to a ballet show, but if you’re even considering it, just try it! You won’t regret it! I’m still catching myself dreaming about some of the stunning things they do. Oh, if only I could be even a quarter as good as them, but at least I'm getting better! I always feel so relaxed after a good ballet class and there's always someone new to learn from and so much to learn. Everyone just smiles and gives it a go! They say dancing keeps you young, and I'm definitely not going to argue with that! 😉
Life’s A Whirl
You know what they say, life’s a whirl and why not just join in, it’s definitely a joy, even when it gets a bit busy and a tad hectic. I just keep reminding myself how lucky I am to have the time, energy, and opportunity to dance. Sometimes we just need to make sure we have a little bit of that twirl and spin in our life, and then let that happiness swirl right through us, you know, like a ballerina spinning, with a bright yellow, sparkly tutu.
It's always exciting to know I've got a dance show or performance to go to! There's nothing quite like a night out with the girls at the theatre. A fab dress, great food and maybe a glass of something sparkly! It's so much more fun than going out and about to one of those boring shows or clubs, don’t you think? My idea of fun? Well, it’s not very glamorous, but I’ve always felt a ballet show is really best enjoyed in comfy clothes with a great view from the very top balcony! The atmosphere’s a lot more casual and fun that way, a real bit of escapism and fun!
You just never know who you’ll bump into! It's been really wonderful to see so many more people interested in dance and performance these days, too. There are all these great dance groups appearing all over the place, it really shows what a real creative scene it’s become. I love the thought that maybe in some little corner, the next brilliant ballerina or dancer is out there and hopefully will become a star like those who light up the stage today!
Pink-Tutu Style!
Have I mentioned my fabulous pink outfit yet, I think we just need a few more pink tutus and I’m hoping that maybe one day, all you beautiful dancers will join me in that amazing pink tutu love affair and we'll really make the world a more beautiful and happier place! Don’t forget I want to see you dancing out there. Don’t worry it's no big secret; I really just want you to try it out for yourselves! You won't regret it, it really can help you find your centre! 😉 So what are you waiting for? Put your favourite tutu on, grab your dance shoes and go! The world’s waiting for you and so am I, don’t be shy, don’t be shy!
