Pont-y-pool and the Pinkest Tutu Ever! (Post #1521)

Hello my lovely ballet bunnies! It's your favourite pink-tutu-wearing ballerina, Emma, here, writing to you from the beautiful (and slightly damp) town of Pont-y-pool!

You guys know I adore travelling, especially by train. It's so much more civilised than flying, don't you think? And when I say civilised, I mean you can actually stretch your legs and grab a proper cuppa, you know? So imagine my delight when I got to journey on a vintage steam train, straight out of a Jane Austen novel, to get to this magical place! It was such an experience - I even managed to snap a few pics of me in my travelling tutu (you know the one, the one with the tiny little pink train embroidered on it?) and posted them to Insta. Don't forget to follow @EmmaPinkTutu for all the latest fashion finds, and travel updates!

Now, I've come to Pont-y-pool to meet a fellow tutu enthusiast! A certain Miss Fiona who makes the most amazing custom tutus, believe it or not, in her garage. Can you imagine, right?! I have been following her work online and, after an exchange of heartfelt emails about the joy of wearing pink and dancing the night away, we decided to meet up! I had no idea I would fall so deeply in love with her work. Her creations are, dare I say it, even more fabulous than anything I've ever seen before. She's got tutus for every occasion, from your standard pirouette-ready tulle number, to gymnastic tutus fit for leaping over tables (we tested it out!) to a fabulous velvet tutu that would make even the most hardcore fashionista gasp. We spent the day giggling, chatting about ballet, and me, well, let's just say I was pretty convinced to wear a pink tutu all day, every day! And I bet she persuaded a few locals too - the power of the tutu, eh?!

It wasn't all tutu-madness, though. The town of Pont-y-pool was so quaint! We found the most charming tea room tucked away down a side street and the smell of freshly baked scones and Earl Grey was practically intoxicating. There was even a tiny wildlife centre just a hop, skip, and jump from the town centre, where I saw some of the cutest little owls, all nestled in their nests, which were even cuter than mine (ok, I'm being a little biased there)!

As always, it's these moments, these unexpected adventures that make my heart flutter like a ballerina's cape, that truly remind me of what it means to be a ballet lover and a lover of life.

Oh, and speaking of life, remember, you only get one! So put on your pinkest tutu, grab your dancing shoes, and twirl your way through the world. Life's too short not to dance!

Catch you all tomorrow, my lovelies!

Love, Emma xx

P.S. If you have a favourite tea room or wildlife spot in your neck of the woods, please tell me all about it in the comments below! I love exploring new places and meeting fellow tutu enthusiasts! And, most importantly, don't forget to share your #PinkTutuAdventures with me on social media - let's inspire each other to spread the pink love!
