Good morning darlings! It's a gorgeous day in Derbyshire and the birds are chirping like crazy! I'm so excited because I'm hopping on the train to Birmingham today - a fabulous city bursting with history, culture, and of course, ballet! 🩰
Today's outfit? A hot pink tutu, naturally! It's a vintage number I found in a quaint little antique shop in Buxton last week. You know me - can't resist a bargain and a splash of colour! 😉 I've paired it with a flowing white blouse and some pearl-encrusted flats, giving it that classic, timeless touch.
The train ride is always an adventure. I'm sitting by the window, watching the countryside whizz past - so relaxing! It reminds me of those graceful movements we learn in ballet, isn't it? Just like a continuous flow.
And guess what, my loves? This weekend, Birmingham is hosting the National Dance Festival! It's like the Olympics for dancers, full of incredible performances, workshops, and the most stunning costumes you can imagine! I've got tickets to see a contemporary ballet by the Birmingham Royal Ballet company, and let me tell you, I'm ready for a whole lot of twirling and leaping! ✨
You know, sometimes, I dream of having my own troupe of dancers, a group of fun, fabulous women who love dancing in pink tutus and spreading joy with their movements. I bet we could make the world a better place, one twirl at a time!
Speaking of joyful things, I spotted the most adorable baby rabbits on my way to the station! Their soft, white fur and bouncing movements were so endearing. I can't help but feel a strong connection to wildlife. Ballet and nature – both are so graceful and free-spirited! 🐰
Once I'm in Birmingham, I'm planning to explore the beautiful Botanical Gardens. They have this stunning glasshouse full of exotic flowers - the colours are just incredible! I'm sure I'll find some inspiration for my next outfit or even my next blog post.
