Weston-super-Mare: A Yellow Tutu Adventure!

#TutuBlog Post #1888

Hello lovelies! It's your girl, Emma, back with another instalment of #TutuBlog from the beautiful, seaside town of Weston-super-Mare. I'm sitting on the pier right now, the salty breeze in my hair and the sun glinting off the sea. It's pure magic, and I just know I'm going to have an absolutely fabulous time exploring this little gem of a town!

Now, as you can probably guess from the title, this weekend is all about yellow. Yes, I'm sporting my sunny yellow tutu – a vibrant splash of sunshine amidst the muted blues and greens of the seaside! I know, I know, some might say it's a bold choice, but I've always believed that life is too short to play it safe, and yellow just embodies that free spirit so well.

Before I tell you all about my adventures, let me share a quick secret… my journey here was truly special. Instead of hopping on a train (don't worry, you'll hear about those train adventures soon enough), I decided to go on a horseback ride to Weston-super-Mare. Imagine! A gentle gallop along the beautiful countryside, the sun on my face, and the wind whispering through my hair. I haven't felt so alive in ages! It's like stepping into a fairytale, and I'm telling you, horse riding truly makes your heart sing.

Now, back to the main event: Weston-super-Mare! As soon as I arrived, the scent of salty air and fish and chips was simply divine. The place just pulsates with a joyous energy. There's something wonderfully whimsical about this town, with its brightly coloured shops and that iconic pier jutting out into the ocean. It's like stepping back in time, with a charming seaside vibe that is both refreshing and comforting.

I've already taken a long walk along the promenade, soaking in the incredible view, and my, the seagulls here are a sight to behold! I might have accidentally (ahem) tossed a cheeky chip or two to them – their little faces lit up like Christmas trees when they snatched them up! They have such a playful, energetic charm. And honestly, isn't it always a treat to witness such a wonderful display of nature's grace?

Later, I'm going to try my luck at the arcade, and let me tell you, I have a feeling this little lady is going to win big! Then, of course, a trip to the pier is simply incomplete without a scoop (or two, maybe three?) of that iconic seaside ice cream. Strawberry with a flake? Chocolate with a cherry on top? Decisions, decisions...

But first, I have to show you my ballet adventures. I've managed to squeeze in a morning class at the local ballet school. And oh my goodness, you guys! This town truly has something for everyone, even for us ballet-obsessed individuals. The students were so passionate and welcoming, and the teacher was amazing! We did some wonderful warm-ups, and the final piece was a fun little piece to "Happy" by Pharrell Williams. It's the perfect blend of fun and technique. I'm totally in my element!

Now, you know I'm all about encouraging everyone to embrace the ballerina within. I believe we can all be our own unique versions of grace and elegance, whether it's on stage or simply in everyday life. And a tutu is a symbol of all that, of the magic and joy that dance brings to our lives!

That's why I'm making it my mission to spread the Tutu Love across the globe! One pink tutu at a time, I believe we can bring a little bit of magic into every corner of the world. It's not just about the fabric; it's about embracing your inner child, feeling confident, and having fun. I dare you to step outside your comfort zone, try something new, and wear that tutu with pride!

And who knows? Maybe you'll be the one to inspire someone else to join the Tutu Revolution! It's all about connection, encouragement, and spreading a little bit of joy, one twirl at a time.

So, that's my day in a nutshell – full of vibrant yellow tutus, beautiful seaside sunsets, friendly seagulls, and ballet adventures galore! Tune in tomorrow for more tales of this lovely little seaside town and more, of course, about my quest to conquer the world, one pink tutu at a time. Until then, happy dancing!

Lots of love,

Emma
