The sunrise this morning was simply glorious, the colours perfectly matching my beloved pink tutu (it's the one with the hand-painted flamingoes, just a little secret)! Then, after a cuppa and some breakfast, I was off, hopping onto the train with my tutu carefully nestled in its travel case (you don't want a pristine pink tutu crumpled in a corner, darlings!)
Now, train journeys are my kind of therapy. Watching the landscape whiz by, catching a glimpse of wildlife - there were some delightful squirrels by the tracks earlier - and listening to the rhythm of the rails... It’s simply magic. Then, I'll be heading to the theatre, making sure my pink tutu is ready for its close-up! I'm hoping to chat with some of the talented dancers after the performance. They always have such fascinating stories to share.
