Gloucester: Tutu'd Up for Wildlife!

Hello lovelies!

It's Emma here, back with another entry from my daily dose of pink tutu goodness! Today I'm whisking you away to Gloucester, a beautiful city in the Cotswolds. But before we get to the scenery, let me tell you about my outfit.

I've been on a real wildlife kick lately, so I whipped up a tutu inspired by all things feathered and furry. Think pastel pink with fluffy tulle and a sprinkle of iridescent sequins to capture the sparkle in a hummingbird's wings. And to top it off, I've added a charming little embroidered fox to the waistband! It's both sweet and a bit mischievous, just like me! 😉

So, off I went on my travels, heading for Gloucester in a quaint little carriage. It was such a dreamy journey! I got to enjoy the passing fields, so lush and green, while I imagined I was gliding across a stage. My little fox friend, meanwhile, kept me company by peeking out from my pocket.

Once I arrived in Gloucester, I couldn't help but notice the charming, old-fashioned feel of the city. It's like stepping back in time! We explored the delightful Gloucester Docks, a treasure trove of boatyards and shops, before making our way to the Cathedral. Its architecture is breathtaking – imagine Gothic splendour but with a whimsical touch! It was the perfect place to practice my grand jeté… though maybe not the best place to pirouette, as the cobblestone floors were a little slippery.

After a spot of lunch with a lovely old-fashioned cafe filled with chattering locals, we took a leisurely stroll through the beautiful Gloucester Quays, admiring the stunning wildlife of the River Severn. Did I mention how much I love wildlife? I think I'll get a tattoo of a butterfly on my foot, what do you think, my dears?

Gloucester, I have to admit, stole my heart with its enchanting nature trails. It felt like I had stumbled upon a secret haven. We ventured through lush green spaces, greeted by charming birdsong and rustling leaves.

Imagine the scene! It was a vibrant picture of emerald green trees, their branches delicately swaying, dappled sunlight playing through the leaves. I almost danced with joy - if I wasn’t wearing my gorgeous, brand new tutu, I would have certainly done just that! My dear readers, how lucky am I to be living the life of my dreams? I feel like I'm in one of those romantic ballet films!

A must-see for any wildlife enthusiast (and ballerina, of course!) is the Cotswold Wildlife Park and Gardens. We had such a wonderful time discovering all sorts of amazing animals. It's like stepping into a real-life safari, without having to pack a suitcase (although that is, admittedly, half the fun!).

As dusk settled and the sun painted the sky with hues of fiery orange and lavender, we ended our day with a delightful performance at the Everyman Theatre. The stage was adorned with the most beautiful lights, and I was reminded once again of why I adore the theatre so much. There’s simply magic in the air.

So, if you're looking for a romantic, nature-filled escape, I highly recommend visiting Gloucester.

Until next time, darling! Remember, pink is always the answer! And don't forget to let me know about your pink tutu adventures in the comments! You can follow my journey at www.pink-tutu.com, and don't forget to follow my Instagram @PinkTutu for daily dose of inspiration and fun!
