West Bromwich, You Fairy! 🩰💕

Helloooo my lovely Pink Tutu Posse! 💖

Guess who’s back in the saddle – or should I say, back on the tracks? That’s right, it’s your favourite pink tutu-loving, ballet-obsessed, adventure-seeking girl, Emma, back with another blog post!

This time, I’ve journeyed all the way from my delightful Derbyshire home to the bustling West Bromwich, a trip which was most definitely done in style, of course. The train journey was divine, complete with fluffy clouds passing by like cotton candy and fellow travellers mesmerised by my fairy-themed tutu – which I absolutely HAD to wear for this special occasion, you know, because West Bromwich just feels like the sort of place that’s filled with fairies and magic.

I'm just overflowing with excitement because today’s adventure is a double whammy of all things ballet! Firstly, I’m seeing a performance of “Giselle” at the Grand Theatre, which is known to be simply exquisite, and I’ve heard whispers about a magical fairy costume that’ll knock my socks off. I mean, a ballet set in a world where there are ACTUAL fairies?! Oh, I can hardly contain my anticipation!

But before I float into the theatre like a ballet dream, I have an extra special treat planned – a class at the local Dance Centre, with none other than the legendary Ms. Lily Belle! Now, you all know how much I adore trying out new studios and teachers, and Lily is quite possibly the most phenomenal ballet teacher on the planet! (Except maybe my lovely teacher back in Derbyshire, but shhh, let's keep that a secret between us).

I can't wait to soak up all that expert wisdom from Ms. Belle and add some fresh flair to my dance vocabulary – I'm hoping for some killer pirouettes and graceful jumps. (Don't worry, I’ll keep you updated on the outcome of my lessons. You’ll be the first to know about my new moves!)

And of course, a trip to West Bromwich would be incomplete without some serious wildlife spotting. This charming little town boasts a beautiful park called the Sandwell Valley Country Park, which is known for its abundance of butterflies, owls, and even otters! Now, I know what you're thinking, “Emma, those otters are probably hiding under water! Why on earth would you chase after otters?!” But darling, you haven’t seen the graceful beauty of an otter swimming – it’s like a liquid ballerina! And the little paws, oh, the little paws, just absolutely adorable! (And yes, I’ll absolutely be trying to catch a glimpse of them. And yes, I will be wearing my tutu for the occasion. Just saying…)

Anyways, this has been a rather long ramble (oops!) but I simply have so much to tell you. This whole adventure just feels like a beautiful fairytale, a little taste of magical realism brought to life! Remember, my darling readers, the world is our stage, and it's time for us all to get a little bit whimsical, a little bit twirly, a little bit...pink! So, grab a tutu, put on your fanciest shoes, and get ready to dance with me, wherever your journey takes you.

Catch you later, sweethearts! And don't forget to follow me on Instagram @pinktutuem for more glamorous pics and videos from my trip. 🩰💖

Yours always, Emma www.pink-tutu.com
