Cambridge Calling: Pink Tutu on a German Train! πŸŒΈπŸ©°πŸš‚

Oh my darling dears, it's your favourite tutu-clad traveller, Emma, reporting live from the most charming city, Cambridge! The sun is shining, the air is crisp, and my pink tutu is absolutely thrilling as I walk past the iconic River Cam and the majestic King's College Chapel. 😍 Just being here makes me feel like I'm stepping into a beautiful ballet – with each stone building playing the role of a set piece and the ancient streets whispering secrets of times past.

Today's adventure began in Derbyshire, where the familiar greenery and gentle breeze whispered promises of exciting new experiences. This morning, I hopped onto a rather splendid German train that whisked me away to London – you can imagine the delight of a fellow traveller in a pink tutu with my ballet bag in tow. πŸ˜‰ There’s nothing quite like the glamour and excitement of travel – and let’s be honest, who needs a fancy first-class seat when you've got a front-row view from a carriage window, all while enjoying the soothing clickety-clack of the wheels on the tracks?

I had a splendid afternoon in the big smoke, catching the most captivating street performance outside Buckingham Palace – think ballet and street dancing weaved into a truly modern masterpiece. I think the Queen herself even peeked out a window at one point, but alas, I can't be sure! London always fills me with such artistic inspiration!

As the afternoon light began to fade and a soft, dusky hue blanketed the city, I said goodbye to London and made my way to Cambridge. I think there's a bit of magic that happens when you step into this University town. A sense of history, learning, and artistry is immediately tangible. There's a peace and beauty here that I feel seep into my very soul, making my pink tutu spin with happiness!

It’s quite difficult to even explain what makes Cambridge so truly special. I’ll be spending a couple of days here exploring its churches and museums. Oh, and how could I forget the glorious gardens? I hear Cambridge has some of the most beautiful botanical collections in the world, and believe me, I’ll be twirling right into those gardens for some tutu-inspired photo shoots!

My favourite part of travel is the element of discovery. Meeting new people, trying new foods (especially yummy local bakery treats – I have a major sweet tooth!), and discovering hidden gems. Last night I wandered through the town and stumbled upon a tiny, dimly lit jazz bar called the β€œBlue Note”. I’d be lying if I said the music wasn’t just what I needed. Jazz with a hint of blues - it was so relaxing and soulful that my inner dancer, dressed in pink of course, couldn't resist swaying to the beat. It was the perfect nightcap to a magical day of travel and discovery!

Cambridge is full of charm – I mean, I even discovered a real working horse and cart while exploring its charming cobbled streets. You'll often find me galloping through picturesque scenery on a faithful steed – there's just something about the wind in your hair and the sun on your face. A great horse or a thrilling train ride - both offer a different view of the world.

While exploring Cambridge's museums yesterday, I was fortunate enough to have an encounter with a captivating white dove – it almost looked like it was wearing a little feather tutu with it's fluffiness around it! I know, I know – I always look for the beauty in the little things. I mean, isn't that what it's all about – finding that spark of delight in everyday moments?

One of the biggest things on my heart – my ultimate mission in life is to get everyone to wear a pink tutu and try ballet! It truly brings out the inner joy in all of us – a little like the way Cambridge has inspired this blogger's heart to thump with happiness. You've got to believe in the beauty of pink! It's simply a symbol of hope, positivity and delight.

Whether it's a pink tutu on the dance floor, on a train journey, or in the middle of a wildflower field (you know, with my ballet shoes, because I believe in always being prepared for a spontaneous ballet performance – sometimes I find myself twirling in the middle of a field just for the fun of it! ), every experience is a beautiful ballet!

So, there you have it! Stay tuned for more from your favourite pink tutu blogger! Oh, and don't forget to join me at www.pink-tutu.com where you can find all my adventures, tips on tutu styles and all things ballet!

Lots of love,

Emma πŸ’•
