Fleet - A Whirlwind in Pink! 🩰

Hello my gorgeous lovelies! 🎀 Emma here, reporting live from the charming little town of Fleet in Hampshire. I must say, I’ve fallen head-over-heels in love with this place, it’s utterly adorable!

As many of you know, I am a firm believer that life is far too short to wear dull colours and miss out on the joy of a good twirl! So naturally, when I set out on this jaunt, my trusty pink tutu was the first thing to pack. And let me tell you, it's been a dazzling journey already.

The train journey down from Derbyshire was truly magical. It’s such a treat to settle back in my comfy carriage seat with a good book and watch the English countryside roll by – all that green grass and fluffy sheep, it’s simply divine! It almost makes me wish I could swap my trusty ballet shoes for a pair of riding boots. Maybe someday! 👢

But back to my adventures! Fleet is just the right size for exploring by foot, and I've been happily wandering down cobbled streets and peeping into charming boutiques – some with even more vibrant colours than my pink tutu! 😂 I discovered this delightful little antique shop brimming with vintage ballet shoes and even a beautiful, albeit dusty, pink tutu – which I couldn’t resist snapping a pic of for you all. It's so inspiring seeing the history of ballet preserved like that, it’s a reminder of all the beautiful dancers that came before me.

Of course, a trip to Fleet wouldn't be complete without a dose of theatre! The local stage production was a real treat. A classic piece set to music by my absolute favourite composer, Tchaikovsky! I swear, the minute that music begins to play, it just sweeps me away! I almost danced right out of my seat and into the stage. Don’t worry, I’m good at restraining myself. 🤫

But my journey wouldn't be complete without a touch of the natural world. The Hampshire countryside is absolutely stunning – think rolling hills, lush meadows, and hidden copses where sunlight dapples through the trees. The peace and quiet just make you feel so rejuvenated. I’m absolutely charmed by this wild little corner of the world, where bunnies hop through the meadows and fluffy owls hoo hoo among the branches. It’s quite magical. And what’s even more magical, I saw the most stunning family of foxes darting through the woods! Just seeing their sleek bodies flitting between the trees – pure delight! 🦊

As always, the whole experience has fuelled my desire to bring a bit of this magic and joy to everyone. Ballet, theatre, the beauty of nature, and a little pink sparkle sprinkled across your life – what's not to love?! I know some of you are a bit shy, but I’m here to tell you – don’t be scared to try! Throw on a tutu, join a ballet class, or even just dance in your living room. It's good for the soul, it's good for the body, and most importantly, it's an amazing way to feel good about yourself! 💕

But enough of my musings – I’ll be leaving you with a little peek into my day here in Fleet. So tune in tomorrow for more updates and photos – and who knows? Maybe even a little dance routine to inspire you all! 💖

Keep twirling!

Love, Emma
