Belfast Bound! ๐ฉฐ๐ธ
Post #2850
Hello lovelies! It's Emma here, back from the bright lights of London and venturing north to the charming city of Belfast! I must admit, I'm absolutely smitten with the vibe of this place. A quirky mix of modern and historical, with cobbled streets, lively pubs, and friendly locals - it's definitely my kind of city!
And did I mention the delicious coffee?! Honestly, you can't go wrong with a decent cuppa here - something I must have inherited from my Derbyshire roots, along with my love for a good woolly jumper!
Now, Belfast is famed for many things - the Titanic, the murals, and of course, the gorgeous coastline. But let's talk about my reason for venturing up North: Ballet! You see, I'm not just a ballerina, I'm a ballerina who loves a good show, and Belfast is bursting with talent. I've been planning this trip for ages - ever since I caught a sneak peek at the upcoming performance of Swan Lake at the Grand Opera House. Can you even imagine?! ๐ฆข I practically danced a pirouette right then and there, the idea of experiencing such an incredible production in such a historic venue filled me with such excitement!
To make things even more delightful, I decided to take a train ride up. Now, you know I love to embrace a journey and I believe the railway truly is the queen of transport! A good book, a steaming cuppa, and the countryside whizzing by... it doesn't get much better! Speaking of whizzing, did I tell you I have this adorable new travel hat? Think vintage, think pastel pink, think tutu-tastic! (You can catch a peek on my Instagram - @pinktutuemma if you're quick).
My little adventure wouldn't be complete without a dose of animal cuteness, so naturally, I headed straight to the Belfast Zoo! Elephants, tigers, lions, penguins... oh, and the red pandas! (Remember how much I love pandas?). They are absolutely adorable. So cuddly! I have to confess, I even got a little teary-eyed watching the meerkats flitting around, a bit too reminiscent of a tutu-wearing ballet dancer myself, haha!
Now, I've only been here for a couple of days, but Belfast has already stolen a piece of my heart! It's brimming with character, charm, and those fantastic, friendly people that truly make a place feel special.
But the most important question, you might ask? Did I wear a pink tutu while in Belfast?! Well, you bet! What kind of pink-tutu-wearing ballerina would I be if I didn't, eh?! I donned my most vibrant, twirly tutu while taking a stroll through the Botanic Gardens - let's be honest, the gardens were stunningly beautiful even without my tulle ensemble, but you know me, I always like to add a touch of pink (and a sprinkle of fairytale!) to everything.
Belfast, you've won me over! It's a little slice of magic - and I can't wait to see what else you have to offer. Don't forget to keep checking in, loves! More adventures and pink tutu adventures coming your way.
Love and twirls,
Emma ๐๐ฉฐ
