Aberdeen Adventures in Pink: Post 2861

Hello my darlings! It’s Emma here, signing in from a rather windy but beautiful Aberdeen. Can you believe it's been three days since my last post? Life, as you all know, gets in the way sometimes. However, with the delightful crunch of gravel beneath my feet and the crisp sea air whipping my pink curls, I can't wait to tell you all about this glorious trip to the Granite City.

My journey started, of course, in the most elegant of ways – a trip on the train. It was a whirlwind of conversation with fellow ballet enthusiasts (you’d be surprised how many are out there!) and dreamy countryside views. It's so refreshing to leave behind the rush of Derbyshire for a few days, even if it means bidding farewell to my trusty horse, Dash. But alas, train journeys allow for a bit more creative outfit exploration, and you can’t very well bring Dash to a performance, now can you? 😉

Speaking of performances, tonight is the big event! I’ve secured tickets for a stunning performance by the Royal Scottish Ballet. The programme includes a revival of their ‘Cinderella’ ballet – oh, how I do love a fairytale! And wouldn't you know it, I just happened to be browsing my favourite vintage boutique the other day, and poof there she was: a magnificent pink tutu, positively begging to be brought to life in a performance setting! It might not be the stage itself, but it is, after all, all about the tutu, isn’t it?

Of course, no visit to Aberdeen is complete without a touch of wildlife. My itinerary is packed with walks along the picturesque coast, keeping an eye out for puffins and seals. Who wouldn’t be charmed by a gang of playful seals basking in the sun? It truly does make one think that we should be wearing pink tutus with a matching seal pin! Maybe that could be my next collection! Just imagine the look on people's faces when I waltz down the street in a pink tutu adorned with a glittering seal. Oh, to see the world in pink, my darlings, to see the world in pink...

Aberdeen, you have stolen my heart! From the warmth of the local cafés to the charming cobblestone streets and breathtaking coastline, this city feels like it’s truly wrapped in a pink ribbon. I’ll be sharing all about my adventures in more detail, including the magnificent ballet performance. But first, let's get a proper look at that stunning new tutu, eh? You're in for a treat.

Now, off I go to find the best tea shop in Aberdeen. I hear they have an amazing pink cake that's as fluffy as a dancer's tulle skirt! It’s going to be a glorious day for pink tutus, wildlife spotting, and oh, that beautiful pink cake.

Don't forget to pop over to www.pink-tutu.com and follow along on my adventures!

Until next time, keep dancing! 💖🩰
