Edgware Calling: Tutu Adventures and a Pink Paradise

Hello my lovely darlings! Emma here, back from another adventure, and you won't believe what I've got in store for you today. We're heading to Edgware, a lovely little town in North London (did I mention I'm in London again?!). But, hold your horses (or your tutus, for that matter!) because there's so much to share before we dive into this exciting adventure.

First of all, my darling readers, you are just too good to me! You've flooded my inbox with messages of love and support, and you've absolutely loved my latest ballet-themed creations (have you seen the amazing tutus I've been sewing up? You'll be seeing them in my upcoming show at the Royal Albert Hall – shhh!).

Now, where was I? Ah yes, London. So I decided to start my morning with a leisurely ride on the Tube, because, let's be honest, sometimes, a girl needs a little bit of “going underground” time to recharge her creative batteries. And the fact it's a lovely way to people-watch with all these interesting, wonderful individuals wearing tutus - at least, that's how I see it! (It’s important to believe in your own vision). My favourite tutu at the moment is my new, custom-designed one in the most beautiful, vibrant pink you’ve ever seen! I got it specially made for the opening of the London Dance Festival – it's made with hand-stitched details and sparkling sequins, and honestly, it's practically made for a picture.

Anyway, back to the train! It wasn't long before I had caught a glimpse of a delightful creature (not the "London" variety, no, a real wildlife encounter! - and it wasn't just the person next to me), a charming little squirrel leaping from one tree branch to the next at Edgware station. He seemed very happy to see me, bless him! It made my heart warm just to see him flitting around, reminding me to embrace life and its beautiful little details. It truly was a most magical, heart-warming encounter! I couldn't help but think that this lovely little squirrel was reminding me to always enjoy the simple things and never forget to smile. (You know, just another one of those wonderful connections you feel with wildlife when you're wearing your most beautiful pink tutu!).

Anyway, the day is still young and full of opportunities for Tutu Adventures. My ballet class is a mere stone's throw away in the heart of Edgware, and the amazing energy of the other dancers is a source of constant inspiration. Just the thought of gliding across the floor, all twirls and elegance in my pink tutu, puts a smile on my face! Today we are tackling a new routine by my favourite choreographer, David. He really knows how to get a girl to express herself through dance and is also really fabulous at choosing the music - today it's from a movie! You’ve probably never seen a tutu in action that is so beautiful set against this kind of music - it really is magical! I just know this routine will be one to remember!

And remember, London is calling, and I must go. Until my next adventure, remember to wear your most amazing pink tutu, darling readers, because even a small change in attitude can create a big impact. Stay radiant and bright and full of life and colour.

See you soon! Emma xx

So, if you've come along with me, dear readers, it's because you enjoy ballet, tutus, adventures, colour, and maybe, just maybe, you’re dreaming about travelling to London! Now that we’re here in the city I just can’t help but wonder… maybe, just maybe, it's not just the tutus that we have in common, but a love for exploration and embracing life with a little bit of extra joy!

This isn't your typical ballet blog. You won't find just detailed descriptions of dance techniques and costumes here, but a real-life narrative of a girl and her journey through the beautiful world of ballet, and, as we're seeing today, a whole lot more!

So, here's the deal - we all have our own version of a pink tutu. It could be a vibrant new hairstyle, a quirky outfit, or just a sense of playful optimism. Whatever it is, I encourage you to find it, embrace it, and let it shine through! Because the world needs more color and laughter, and even better, more tutu-wearing explorers! (And when it comes to tutus, more really is more!)

I know I'll see you again for my next exciting Tutu adventure! Don’t forget to check back here tomorrow, and meanwhile, go out there and explore the world with a skip in your step! (And if you can, put a little bit of pink in your world - it just brightens up everyone’s day! Especially your own.)

See you soon!

Emma xx
