Small Heath & the Tutu-tastic Train Ride (Post #3286)

Hello my darling tutus! 🩰💖

Well, the sun is shining, the birds are singing, and yours truly is on her way to Birmingham - Small Heath to be exact, for a very special reason: Ballet! I’m a girl who simply can’t resist a good tutus and twirls, even if it means braving a train journey. And honestly, who could resist a train trip, especially when it’s as lovely as the one I just had?

You see, I am a firm believer in travelling by train, it’s so much more civilised, isn’t it? And the views! We’re talking rolling hills, fluffy clouds, and maybe even a few friendly sheep, all enjoyed in a comfortable, quiet space with just the right amount of gentle rocking to put me into a daydream about a ballerina dancing on the wind. Speaking of wind, that's how my dress felt. Yes, I decided on a fabulous, light-as-a-feather pink chiffon dress for this adventure. A good dance outfit never hurts when you're traveling on a long journey. Maybe some wouldn't have approved of the leotard under the dress, but you know me – always prepared for a dance off! And when you’ve got a ballet class later, a pink leotard just seems right. I’m a firm believer that a little bit of pink never hurts! 😉

Speaking of dance off, there are very few things more uplifting and life affirming than a dance class. It’s a reminder that movement, grace, and beauty can come in any shape or size. This is why I’m going to Birmingham, because it's where the talented dancers of the Royal Ballet will be showing off their skills! Honestly, these ballet performances just have a magic all their own. So this afternoon I’ll be enjoying some fantastic choreography and elegant dance.

Anyway, enough about my adventures. I’ve gotta go! I have to make it to Birmingham in time for the performance. There’s not a chance I want to miss one minute of this ballet.

See you back here tomorrow, darling tutus. Don’t forget, a sprinkle of pink and a little dance are always a good idea.

Stay beautiful!
