Stratford Upon Avon: A Green Tutu Dream

Hello darlings!

Welcome back to Pink-Tutu.com - post number 3488! I hope you are all feeling fabulous today, because I certainly am. After all, there's nothing quite like a fresh start and today, I'm bursting with excitement for a delightful day out in the beautiful town of Stratford-Upon-Avon. It's not just any ordinary day, though. I'm on a special mission, one that involves a stunning green tutu and a day filled with magic.

Let me set the scene for you: The sun is shining, the birds are singing (and I do mean singing!), and a crisp autumnal air whips through my hair. My new green tutu, which is the perfect shade of emerald green, swirls around me like a beautiful, dancing leaf. The fabric feels like a dream, so light and soft, and I just know this is going to be a fantastic day.

Getting here was a truly romantic affair. I took a journey on the train - that majestic beast of steam and steel, chugging through the countryside, painted in a glorious crimson and gold. It's the perfect mode of transport for any ballerina! Watching the world drift by through the window, feeling the rhythmic sway of the train carriage, almost felt like a graceful plié in itself.

As I disembarked the train, I found myself stepping into a world of charm and history. The air is thick with the scent of autumn leaves, a hint of smoke from a nearby fireplace, and the echoes of laughter echoing through the cobblestone streets. This quaint town seems to radiate magic. My excitement is truly building now, as I know Stratford is where the heart of Shakespeare’s legacy resides. It’s an extraordinary location steeped in artistic history - it makes me want to do a pirouette just to celebrate.

My first stop, as any true ballerina would, is the Royal Shakespeare Theatre. I have a slight confession - I've never actually seen one of Shakespeare's plays performed. Yes, I know! This girl lives in a tutu bubble! But trust me, my darlings, I have a grand plan in motion to change this… and with this amazing green tutu I’m definitely feeling inspired. Today, however, I’m focusing on the beauty of the theatre building itself. It’s quite impressive, standing grand and imposing in all its majesty. Just the sight of it has me feeling like I could jump right on stage and perform a graceful, fluid waltz.

The outside of the building, decorated in an elegant shade of cream and sandstone, seems to radiate history. I'm captivated by the stunning architecture – just another element of the artistic beauty surrounding me. And inside, the Theatre is a beautiful and dramatic space, with intricately crafted decorations and plush red seating - it feels both historical and modern at the same time, a perfect place for the performing arts.

Now, let’s talk about what this trip is really all about – ballet. Not just ballet in the traditional sense, oh no, it’s Ballet Street and it’s an absolute dream! I’ve come to Stratford-upon-Avon especially for a delightful performance and I am already in my own happy place. I’m planning on spending a good portion of the day soaking up the creative atmosphere.

To add to the whole magical atmosphere, I decided to treat myself to a charming afternoon tea at a cosy, tea room tucked away in a quaint little street. Imagine a place with vintage china, beautiful floral tablecloths, and the sweet, tempting aroma of fresh baked cakes and scones - the perfect environment to inspire creative thoughts, especially for a dancer like myself!

This magical trip is more than just a beautiful escape though, darlings, it’s also an inspiration. I want everyone, I truly mean everyone, to feel this sense of happiness. And I truly believe, deep in my tutu-clad heart, that everyone can experience this sense of freedom and joy that I feel by dancing, even just trying ballet. I want to inspire everyone to find their inner dancer. Let’s make pink tutus the symbol of freedom and creativity! Let’s let everyone embrace their own inner ballerina and share a love for dance, wildlife and a truly delightful day out, like today, here in Stratford-Upon-Avon!

Until next time my loves!

With love and pink tutus,

Emma xx
