Ashton Adventures: An Italian Tutu and A Pink Pony Ride! 🩰💖🐎

Hello lovelies!

It’s Emma here, and I'm so excited to share my adventures with you! Today marks a whopping post number 3508, and I'm feeling pretty darn accomplished. We all know that consistency is key when it comes to ballet, and blogging is just like that - you've got to keep dancing through those days even when inspiration seems to be on a little break.

Speaking of dancing, I'm currently basking in the warm glow of a spectacular weekend spent in the lovely town of Ashton. You might not have heard of it - it's tucked away in a little corner of Derbyshire, but believe me, it's a real gem! The moment I arrived, the streets felt full of charm and life, all set against a backdrop of stunning scenery that felt straight out of a fairytale.

Now, if you know me at all, you know I have a deep, undying love for all things pink. And Ashton definitely knew how to play to my weakness! As I wandered around the town centre, a vibrant little boutique caught my eye. Its name? Pink Paradise. You can practically imagine the glitter explosion that occurred as I stepped through the doors! It was like a little piece of my very own pink-tutu-land in the heart of Ashton. They even had a pink porcelain teacup piglet, which needless to say, was making its way straight into my luggage as we speak.

Of course, no trip is complete without a sprinkle of ballet. And Ashton didn’t disappoint! There was this amazing independent ballet school nestled away in a beautifully renovated Victorian house. You could practically feel the passion emanating from the walls! The instructor was an absolute whirlwind of energy, teaching the most dazzling, gravity-defying routines. She even let me join in on a short rehearsal, which I'll admit, left me utterly exhilarated!

Oh, and I can't leave out my personal highlight of the trip! You know how I mentioned that pink pony earlier? Well, she wasn't just any ordinary pony. She had a pink, silky mane and a glittering silver saddle! As I mounted up, feeling like a modern day fairytale princess, the thrill of it was simply overwhelming. It was like something out of a dream! She took me on the most breathtaking trek through the Ashton countryside, passing by fields of wildflowers and babbling brooks. I literally felt my troubles melt away as we galloped across those lush green fields.

The train journey home was blissful too. It gave me plenty of time to reflect on everything that made my trip to Ashton so magical.

A Place To Get Inspired: I found myself surrounded by genuine beauty, a spirit of creativity, and a passion for ballet that echoed through every cobbled street and cobbled courtyard. It felt as though the whole town embraced the joy of expression and the magic of movement, like a big, pink tutu-clad family!

And that, my lovely ballet enthusiasts, is why I have to urge you - go on a trip to Ashton. Take a stroll, have a spot of tea in a charming tearoom, let yourself be enchanted by the independent shops, and soak up the energy of the place. It will leave you feeling utterly inspired.

*And don’t forget to rock that pink tutu wherever you go, whether you’re taking a graceful turn around your living room, or waltzing through Ashton! * 💖

But I’m just getting warmed up… There’s so much more I want to share! Follow along at www.pink-tutu.com and I'll catch you in my next post! Until then, dance your hearts out, wear pink and let the tutu spirit flow through you!

Love always,

Emma
