Hello darlings!
It's Emma here, your friendly neighbourhood tutu enthusiast, and today I'm bubbling over with excitement because... well, just take a look at this fabulous outfit!

Yes, my dears, I've taken a plunge into a pink paradise in my latest leotard - all the way in Frome! It's been a glorious day of ballet bliss, travelling in style and experiencing a bit of that famous Somerset charm.
A Frome Fancy:
We arrived in Frome this morning after a picturesque train journey, window seat overlooking rolling hills dotted with sheep (which, let's be honest, are just big fluffy bunnies) and fields of glorious yellow buttercups. I felt like a heroine from one of my favourite Victorian novels!
Now, I'm usually quite the city girl, but Frome had a certain je ne sais quoi about it that instantly charmed me. Cobblestone streets, quirky independent shops, and the most enchanting little bakery called "Flour Power" (which I think needs to be a motto for life, honestly!) It truly felt like a step back in time, which, if I'm being completely honest, is sometimes what a city girl needs.
Leotard Luxe:
Speaking of that fabulous leotard I mentioned, let me just tell you, it's a masterpiece! The softest pink satin, with delicate detailing around the neckline and this beautiful swirly skirt, it practically twirls itself. It's all about feeling like a princess - because who says a grown woman can't indulge in a little fairy-tale magic?
And the best part? It fit me perfectly after the incredible transformation at "The Fabric Fairy." They truly have a touch of magic - a whole team of seamstresses who tailor your dream outfit right in front of your eyes! I had this vision of a fairytale tutu for Frome, and they brought it to life!
A Tutu-ful Treat:
Of course, no trip to Frome is complete without a ballet experience, and this afternoon I was treated to an absolutely stunning performance at the historic Town Hall. Imagine: exposed brick, a creaking wooden stage, and a dazzling ballet performance. The costumes were to die for!
Now, this wasn't your average classical ballet, it was more of a ballet street performance - think vibrant colours, contemporary movements, and an air of energy and creativity that simply swept me away! They even had a hip-hop inspired number with some breakdancing that blew me away. It was just what I needed - a bit of modern flair infused into the elegance of ballet.
Dancing With The Animals:
After the performance, my friends and I stumbled upon a little courtyard filled with local wildlife. There were so many adorable bunnies hopping around, and this amazing ginger cat who was trying to balance on a wall (poor thing!). It really put the whole day in perspective. There's a beauty in everything, from the elegance of ballet to the playful antics of wildlife.
It just makes you realise how magical the world really is, doesn't it?
Final Tutu Thoughts:
As the day drew to a close, Frome had worked its magic on me. I was utterly smitten with its quaint charm and its welcoming spirit. But what truly captured my heart, was the opportunity to indulge in a little ballet bliss and experience a world of creativity and artistry. It reminded me why I started this blog, why I wear a tutu everywhere, and why I believe that anyone can feel like a princess with a little bit of imagination.
Now, as I head back to my little cottage in Derbyshire (another place full of magic!) I can't wait to start planning my next adventure. Will it be a ballet performance in Bath? Or perhaps a weekend exploring the Yorkshire Dales with my trusty steed? Stay tuned, darling! I'll keep you all updated on my pink adventures!
